  • Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always This design lets you build the Perfect VAWT from cheap parts, which should be capable of generating

  • WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE

    Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com

ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they're sealed underground.

SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since the turbines are slow-moving.

DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.

MAY BE LOWER-COST since it can use parts of junked trucks and others.

ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the blades automatically close.

HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

  • Excellent demo..

  • Circular Inductrack(R)[TM]? Cool.

  • Mag-lev is all well and good bu you have not considered the tangential forces from the wind, which push the rotor against the spindle. This will cause friction and eventually wear the spindle down until it fails.

To fix this I would use traditional bearings. When you consider modern technology traditional bearings have very low friction, and are MUCH cheaper than those big magnets.

  • Great video.... does anyone have an explanation of this video to better grasp the parts used and their purpose...

  • how many turns per coil?

  • Donuts!!!

  • why can there be up a pair magfields?

  • Nice work. Here's an idea that your design gave me; How about a counter-rotating 'wind-bin' under the generator that spins one set of magnets or contacts in the opposite direction, effectively doubling the RPM? Just reverse your blades on the second bin...Peace!

  • ok so on 2:05 is the disc that is comming down, are there magnets on it or where are the magnets? and are the two plates bolth have copper coild on them or what?

    thanks :)

  • parece un plato con rosquillas

  • This is quite entertaining for me... you are too cool for school, fool! It looks like you have an obsession for pink circular objects... i mean something that i wont ever give up to you. haha! Seems like you are pretty secretive about your bearing design...i bet they use pretty small balls. Why don't you finish school and if you do better than all my friends, then we talk :P

  • I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation. Making a 6 kW generator will cost $1200, value of the energy produced yearly $5400, zero operating costs. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents.

  • That's super first attempt, if you ever figure it out magnets are just free energy. You can turn any equation into free energy by building the equation.

  • why the magnet on the top of the axle too?

  • Thank you for your video, i have 9, 14 gauge magnetic coils with 12 strong magnets ready to be test with a great idea of yours.

  • So how many turns per coil, what's the wiring sequence, distance between magnets and stators?

  • great job.. can you put a top on it the same as the bottom? and would that make twice the power? thanks for putting this on you really opend my eyes..

  • So lets say you hypothetically reduced the size of the disk with the coils, but kept the coils on there, same amount everything, and added a second disk of magnets to the bottom? joining the two disks with the magnets with the coils in the center, could you potentially double the output because there are now double the magnets on either side?

  • Possibly, but the clearance of the magnets from the coils because of the plate holding the coils

would weaken the second set of magfields, since

the distance from the coils would be inclusive of

the plate thickness.......and the coil plate could no

longer be the support base, either.

  • Iseen them do it for a wind turbine on Planet mechanics on Planet green. They dont explains much when they build stuff. i hate that.

  • @tiantan63 Check out the videos by wind2volts for that

  • It will also double the Resistance and need a stronger wind.

  • @AKAOJ , Yes , and it is done that way. 2 magnet discs top and bottom of the coils..The coil arrangement and wiring seems to vary and has me wondering which is best..

  • Quote "The problem is that as you make those coils produce current, they will repel the magnets" This only happens if the coils have a ferrite core, but since they're air-core it doesn't

produce a mag field in the coil, which is copper.

Also, the lock-ring on top of the axle adjusts the

height of the magnets, since it does mag-lev downwards too..........

As to sizes, use whatever works. With N45 magnets they dont need close tolerance since they're so strong..........

  • The air core will still create a repulsion, but you are right, the top magnet will help hold it in place.

  • I have nothing but an idea.............and posted it for consideration. If you want to try and build it feel free. If not, then ignore it as you see fit, but don't

shoot down ideas you've never tried yourself.

    I called it a perfect maglev because it's a uni-field

levitation, not multiple which tends to create drag and vibration. That much I've tested already......

  • @tiantan63 right on think outside the box. not the brain washed by the college liberal professors theory

  • @seandouglas1 I wish they were Liberal. When I went to college all the proffesors were clones of Beck,Hannity,Limbaugh, etc.

  • @kdc43 what college did u go to.i cant name 1 college that even has 1 of them hard hitters in it. all i know is that there rewriting our history and they been doing it for years. they have taken over our education system. and dumbed it down and changed whatever didnt fit there agenda. and if they cant pass law the legal way which means its constitutional. the hide behind the epa. or executive orders and bypass congress. where in alot of trouble right now and people better wake up

  • @seandouglas1 That was true for the 8 Bush years and even that republican-lite Pres Obama-bush for the past 2 years.

  • The problem is that as you make those coils produce current, they will repel the magnets, so it will start to levitate higher and produce less power. Normally with maglev they use a radial alternator with the coils on the side, not the bottom.

  • great design do you have it made all ready?

  • This is the single most important video ever uploaded onto the internet!!!

This person who produced and provided this tutorial free of charge has probably just saved the planet.

  • How many power produce this turbine. In my town we have little wind spped. I want to make one for my house but I do not know if the described turbine would be enough. Sorry for my english.

  • Best place for a bunch of these would be the

center median of your average highway.

One may also want to add a bridge made up

of two-by-fours to hold the top of the axle in

place, but the main design is pretty robust,

    if basic.....

    Venger

  • My turbines always work perfectly as solid models too. Build it and see what the real world has to teach you. :-)

Most turbine don't lose that much efficiency to bearing friction. It's losses in the alternator, wing designs, etc that really effect things. The mag lev is nice for isolating vibrations from a roof though.
