  • This song is, if anything, far too good.

  • the difference between this and American hip hop is that when you actually listen to the lyrics instead of using it for ambiance (which i still prefer this for) there is a story and a meaning behind it

  • does anyone notice how the beginning of this song sounds like Gyptian - Hold Yuh ?

  • @chabrol64 this is so gay...but u're fucking write

  • Im not aussie but i love HTH is that ok!?!?! I LOVE UM! and im from UK england! respect to pres suf !

  • @dannywade954 same mate but its hard not to love em. They're so fucking brilliant!

  • One of my fav songs on the album.

  • what is he saying 3:50??

  • i dont see why people have to say such stupid shit. its annoying like what dill said thats dumb, and what a bunch of flmaers say oh hilltop sucks, gtfo noob you typed in this song just to hate on ?? not much to be proud of,

  • @ChelmieYO The Lyrics at the beginning are as follows:

"In my mind and in my soul,

style from the end, back to the beginning,

I can take control of a beat whenever I roll,

a long time to ignite a fucking style"

These are not their lyrics however, It is sampled from the 1994 song "Keep it Komin" by the Hip-Hop duo 'Organized Konfusion'.

They were far better lyricists that Hilltop Hoods I'm afraid, so the best part of this song is a sample.

Credit to HH though, they sampled it well.

  • @digita10smosis very appreciated, thank you.

  • Does anyone know where i can get the piano score for this?

  • austraila was a fucking prison island. All of you are ansestors of criminals and psykos haha... Not so much to be proud of .

  • @TheDillchipset yet they are some of the most chilled people on the planet...

  • @TheDillchipset Actually, most of the people who came Australia were just people who disagreed with the government. Thousands of North Americans were sent there just on the fact that they were outspoken against the government. Almost none were actuall criminals. Learned in Canadian history.

  • @TheCodeep Oh really? Then i apologize if i provoced someone. I was learned this here in sweden. Fucking amateur teachers.... You allways learn someting new :D

  • can somebody give me the lyrics of this song ?

i can't understand them at the beginning.

all i can understand is: it's on my mind and in my soul ..

    my english isn't the best

  • @ChelmieYO its not from the end, back to the begining, i can take you, flow to the beat when ever i roll, no time to acknowledge before we stop. im really just guessing tho :D

  • @mxpandas1Theres plenty to be proud of living in the best country in the world that us convicts built from nothing

  • It is awesome! it doesn´t matter where you live! Enjoy the song;).

  • This song is the first hilltop hoods song I heard LONG LIVE AUSSIE PRIDE from Great Falls Montana.

  • hi guys, my english sucks, can only read lyrics but, the chorus...i cant understand them, if u can tell me what they say i just hear something like...wazaap! late the same voices says something i cant understand, can u translate 4 me plz . thanks..

  • Funny seeing so many Canadians here, since I'm one too.

Maybe we like Aussie rap because Canada and Australia were basically the two places that the unpretentious Brits went, but Aussies being more hardcore because they weren't there by choice. :P

  • @Hedgehogs4Me Haha, i'm canadian too!

  • parfait.

  • SAME CHUJE :D

  • omg

  • after seeing bliss n eso in whistler had a whole new appreciation for aussie hip hop hilltop hoods i put in the same class keep kicking out good licks for us to enjoy...

  • I love it <3

  • There are lots of good American underground rappers, just gotta look for them

  • Comment removed

  • Second tight group i've heard from australia gotta appreciate real music no matter where it's from!

  • feeling the Aussie Hip-Hop here from Spain!

  • pressure tears that shit up in the second verse!!!

  • Tuuuuuuuune - Lovin' the Aussie Hip Hop here in the UK !!!

  • Aussie Pride, Hilltop Hoods keep it real. The mainstream shit over here in the U.S. has made me vomit several times.

  • I m mexican and i got aussie pride!!!! XD

  • ... ♥ ...

  • These "Thumbs Up" comments from these faggety thumb whores are pretty annoying.

  • @thebigkevin irony's a bitch ain't it :D

  • whatz the chances only listed 2 2 aussi groups n i liked them both??? other group was called bliss n eso (look them up there also pritty dam gooD)!!

  • thumps up from switzerland!!!

  • i love how hiltops are massive world wide now but pressure still plays gridiron in SA. respect

  • Peace from Arizona

this shit is too dope and slept on

  • shit im black and i love hilltop hoods

  • American rappers could never ever compair 2 HTH and im american i love foreign music so much more than u.s. music

  • @psnjuggalo420killa really? You're gonna say that no rappers hailing from the birthplace of hip hop can match Hilltop? I think Hilltop is awesome, but you should probably expand your knowledge of American hip hop to more than the shit played by your local hip pop radio station before asserting such a ridiculous claim. You're right they can't "compair", since that's not even a word.

  • @OneHaff Actually, not even our underground american hip hop is any good. You hear one good song, then you look up the rest and they all suck. Its all the same. Especially our mainstream.

  • @Digitalman271 well if you like hilltop check out Army of the Pharaohs, Living Legends, cunninlynguists, tonedeff, deltron, common market, blue scholars, heiruspecs, blackalicious, felt, nappy roots, and zion i and the grouch. With any luck you've heard of some of these, but there's no denying that they're all sweet in their own widely varying styles. I'll gladly give you many examples. And while I'm no hilltop I think I'm better than "not any good": ww.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpxt9rJSGkk

  • Maybe some American Rappers should listen to this they might learn something

  • @ELD3. Ive neverheard of them...

    HILLTOP HOODS. FTW'!!!!!!!!

  • epic song

  • I love the orchestral stuff Hilltop Hoods put in their music. It's friggen GREAT!

  • LOL do i see people nationally differentiating? What a shame cus the Hilltops message is for everyone Example@ propswereitsdue.

    Awesome beats ty

  • where can i buy this music cuz its not on itunes... i think

  • @n0Obcrush3r Look again...

  • @n0Obcrush3r ebay!

  • i think this is the first rapper where evey fucking song is the best one i've heard!!!

  • all you american idiots if you got nothing decent to say dont fuckin comment simple

  • hahahaz.. dis is da best song.! its lyke heckars.:)

  • @2192s Hahaha. This is the best song. It's like, heckers :)

    English'd

  • this shit is fucking real. no bullet proof vest creating a false sense of importance.

  • what is the best place to buy their cd's in the US? i havent really looked in any stores but i have heard you cant find them unless you look online

  • @kawikaze16 order it

  • @kawikaze16 ebay!

  • Hey guys, this intro sounds really familiar to me, any1 know in what song it is used aswel?

    thanks for responding ;)

I recently discovered hoods, it rocks ;D

  • LMFAO at everyone who thinks all american MCs/rappers are gangsta and thug!!! really?? ok, heres a kwik list aceyalone aesop rock blackalicious black thought (im sure u heard of him) cool calm pete chali 2na del EL-P evidence these american rappers do not speak of this gangsta, rims, guns, girls, money, clubs, and whatever else goes along with mianstream hiphop. ;)
  • @ELD3 i agree ... the scene in US is still strong. i cant understand why ppl just cant like hip-hop if its good, not just if its from a certain country.

  • I live in the US and agree. nothing positive comes from this abomination called gangsta rap. Any fool can pick up a gun and squeez a trigger. Rising above is a whole nother thing it takes real strength and determination. This shit has a smooth soul funkin feel love it. Ima see what I can do bout blowin them up in the states. To HILLTOP HOODS keep layin it down.

  • @BProduktionz As an additional point - from Wikipedia entry on hip hop (which also outlines what the four core elements of hip hop are):

While hip hop music now appeals to a broader demographic, media critics argue that socially and politically conscious hip hop has long been disregarded by mainstream America in favor of gangsta rap.

  • @nashidar yeah I agree that Gangsta Rap and so on is horrible but dude still Cunnin linguist ,Cyne, Masta Ace, Edo G, Gangstarr(R.I.P.),A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy maintain the level just in the underground scene !!!!!Actually here's a link or two for u

  • @BProduktionz I made that comment based on what is considered the core elements of Hip Hop. Guns, bitches, and bling - which is not what Hip Hop is about - is all America seems to be churning out. Happy to be proven wrong.

  • @nashidar hell links don't work but check out cunnin linguists -linguistics

    Masta Ace -lil young

  • mad lyricism on this track. great song . real hip-hop . peace

  • Honestly i like aussie rap because its different and kool. Plus it has lyrics not like the american rap nowadays.

  • Thumbs up if you got Some AUSSIE PRIDE With this group!

  • @ilikemycoffiewithtea i got aussi pride listening to hilltop bros and im fucking canadian haha :D

  • @pedopars good on ya mate. thats the way. the culture has always come out through song

  • and im am from fucking sweden and hilltop hoods is awsome

  • @pedopars same here but i'm American

  • @pedopars same

  • @pedopars SAME :D

  • @pedopars Same

  • @ilikemycoffiewithtea WOORRDD!!! sooo sick

  • @ilikemycoffiewithtea that doesnt even make sense

  • These guys are hip hop. I wouldn't classify them as rap. I prefer hip hop over rap anyway. Whilst rap is big in America ...hip hop doesn't seem to be. This right here is proper hip hop. Listen to other stuff from the Hilltop Hoods.

  • i got one thing to say that is that hilltop hoods fuck### rules and 2 verse when pressure raps, pressure got a voice no one ever can get it's totaly impossible.

pressure with the freaking awesome voice

  • Everytime I listen to the Hilltop Hoods I catch something I didn't before. "Like OJ, little glove big hand."

  • @surlybikes13 what does it mean?

  • @315Juanrez315 At the OJ Simpson trial, OJ tried on a glove that was supposedly used in the murders of his wife and her lover. It was too small and his lawyer's argument was basically that if the glove didn't fit, OJ could not have committed the murders.

  • @surlybikes13 Thank you very much for this exhaustive explanation.

  • my ears just opened after this song , starting to listen real Hip Hop :D very nice song :)

  • @DuBHard word . hilltops earlier lyrical work is phenomenal man. get ur hands on 'matter of time' and 'left foot right foot' some really great listening.

  • This is the best album i own, one of the best ever made imho.

  • this video givs me gas

  • HILLTOP HOODS are gone go world wide!

People are allready listening to them in europ!

THIS IS THE GOOD HIP HOP!

  • @Chilababanuiskate

hi dude i´m from germany and i´m listnin´ to them for a few years ;) i love their style and storys, it´s just amazing how they do their job!

  • dont touch me i just farted

  • wooooooo go hilltop hoods the BEST rap on the planet not like that american suff thats GAY plus this rap actually has a meanig.......

  • ... :)

  • theres plenty of good newskool rap in the states and britain, you just gotta look for it. but you cant judge the hip hop of any country by the big artists in that country. the best rappers are usually unsigned or are their own label and you wouldnt hear about em unless you went out looking for em. so peace to everybody is basically what im saying :P

  • Em cant touch Hilltop, these guys own. They need to come to the states.

  • these guys talk bout how to make ur dreamz become ur reality. they speak the truth hilltop hoods 4 life. peace from canada

  • man i used to absolutely hate rap. I think its cause the only experience I've had of it is like 50 cent and Eminem. But this is a REALLY good song. really opened my eyes

  • I love it (: <3

  • To all the idiots saying american rap is just about guns, hoes and ass - you're fucking stupid. You just haven't given the time to look for the real american rappers, not the hyped up fakes that are celebrities. Take a look at groups like Army of the Pharaohs, Atmosphere, etc.

  • U SOUND LIKE A BITCH MAN

  • Hey im a young 17 year old aussie rapper from new south wales scope out my page, rate, sub, add as friend? I'm alright but my newer shit is fire, just waitin on a better mic and a laptop im gettin in a couple of months.. Just so i can get that crisp sound ;D..

  • UZZ rip.... awesome dudes....

  • this is AWSOME STUFF!

  • wow every song i've heard from these guys has a sick ass beat i just love it

  • hilltop hoods changed my life 50 cent ruind it

  • @tyler123122 I highly doubt a rapper that you have most likely never met ruined your life.

  • @ilovepandas24 yeah no kidding.

and i don't like 50 cent either, but guys it's useless to hate

  • liek ive said b4 hilltpo hoods shouldnt be classed as rap. there defantly the best hip hop going but theres not enough rap to be called solid rap. tho im a die hard hilltop hood fan

  • these r the last of days of vast arrays of fake fucks up in a mascarade

  • the epitomy of hip hop. luv n much respect for these guys. peace.

  • 404 ratings not found

  • i hate mainstream rap, the only mainstream rapper i like is eminem, you have to admit his lyrics fit together perfect. but hh is the best

  • Fuck this is awsome!

  • this CD is dope!

  • my budyy is a dick and writes shit on shit i like because he knows i hate mainstream and 50 cent is still only famous cos he ot shot enough times

  • even 50 cent himself knows he's the worst and nobody respects him. Guess who's back was his only decent album. period.

  • i wanna learn the piano

  • mad song, love the combo of light piano and heavy rapping

  • I dont find this heavy rap. Heavy rap for me is "I went to a club, fucked all the hoes, then shot them" < American shit. This is more relaxing, and much much better =)

  • @kregzdeM3 agreed, perfect rap...period.

  • no that rap is you being a fucktard and not knowing anything. this is good rap your just an idiot

  • tbh i think these guys are dwn to earth and actually have somthing to rap about not shit and somtimes u can actually relate to it still standing proves the dnt care about there fame its about he music

  • Americanized rap just suck.

IMO 50 Cent didn't get shot enough times...

These guys rap about Real Life, not make believe hoes, gun and ass fucking.

  • AMEN.

  • @daroodee

You talking about all american rap..or just the mainstream stuff..there are alot of american artists like this..

  • it was the old days that are the best check jurassic 5,souls of mischeif and beatnuts today i admit todays main stream rap sucks so hard but try to look underground

  • @daroodee you fuckin said it!

  • my problem with rapper like 50cent is they just taking about shit.. biches, beeing a ganxta and bullshit like these.. and the kids think they have to be like them...

wtf?! they are talking bullshit and everybodey wants to have / be this

  • true that brother, so when rappers like hilltops, or the beastie boys come out, its legit, cause they have something different and unique to say. although beastie boys were all about the women haha.

  • @daroodee I read an interview with 50 cent where he said he hates most of his own songs but the record company pretty much says "do or don't get paid". Doesn't justify it but makes it a little more understandable.

  • @nebadin Thats actally 100% true, hes now going to be remove is tattoo's.

And hes now going to be in films cause of to Record Company.

  • @daroodee

there's no better way to put it that that.

  • @daroodee

Not all american rap sucks. If you like these guys at least give Flobots a chance.

  • @daroodee You need to check the real american underground status bro, Look up Sandpeople , greives, the loyalists, cunninglynguists, atmosphere, brother ali, Qwel, juice to make it happen, glue, sweatshop union.... the list goes on and on it;s not a matter of geological location, its an art form no one person posesses. This shits worldwide and openminded.

  • @420420420387 very good choices. those are probably the exact people i would suggest along with maybe immortal technique, the diplomats, copperpot, ecid, and iame

  • @flipskater1369 For sure, but we can't leave out the o.g.'s of this art form from the past decade who got us hooked and really sparked the break from the main. Mad love to Tribe called Quest, HIEROGLIPHICS!! and everything Heiro Imperium does. Living Legends, all their side projects, and everyone involved with the Legendary Music label. Rhyme Sayers Ent. getting up. Fondell Em/ Def Jux, and many others who progressed this art, and continue to give the new generation passion for this.

  • @daroodee agreed ...I live in america lol there are a few good ones though emenem is pretty decent some songs and some of 2pac biggie but the new shit sucks

  • @daroodee u just suk

  • @daroodee my cock

  • @daroodee okay, but talking about 50 didn't get shot enough times is disgusting

because what you're doing is quite the same he does !

  • @polymonomaan lol so fifty doesent think he got shot enough times either?

  • @capatheist guess you didn't get the meaning

it's the shit talkin not the bullets

  • @daroodee one of the stupidest comments, ever. Just because 50 is bad, doesn't mean american rap is. you hear of the mainstream shit, so you take it that that's our rap game. wrong. a lot of underground rap is real, and good. even some mainstream rappers still. read up.

  • @daroodee if you like hiltop hoods, you should check out eminem, he raps about real shit too.

  • @daroodee you cant say it about all american rappers im aussie mate but tupac eminem biggie smalls

them they talk/talked about real shit

  • @daroodee gotta remember there's fact and fiction in everything to you its a story to some its life.

  • @daroodee Not all American rap is like. Just because you've only listen to mainstream crap rap doesn't automatically make all American hiphop crap. There's plenty of excellent hiphop from the US. But I do agree the mainstream music in the US is awful.

  • @daroodee It's not Americanized rap, it's mainstream rap that sucks. Underground for life.

  • @SocialLocust exzactly that is the prob that i am facing when you say you like hip hop or rap they go on and say lil wayne or lil wyte and ahhhh FUCK here in the U.S.A.people are obsessed with the repeative and the boaring song that not many if not any can relate to and yeahh underground i am living for the rest of my days

  • can't say which one is better, american rap about guns couse they have guns :) they do get shoot, they rap different because they just rap their real life, 50 cent really got shoot b4...

  • @lrlrlr696969 faggot ass lil bitch

  • fair enough but still it seems like its the same story with every single american rapper. hoes, guns, drugs and ass. they rarely sing about anything else

  • @danieldiaco Nah you're wrong. Underground hip hop is where the spirit is alive in America...This is coming from an Australian (me) who was fortunate enough to stumble upon CYNE which then led to a whole bunch of underground artists that don't even talk a lot about "the hood" but speak more down to earth and about philosophy and reaching the inner spirit. Check out CYNE.

Btw hilltop hoods are awesome no doubt

  • guys, get this at tubemusicdownload com

  • they're australian mate

  • alder voll die tide music

  • listen to immortal techquic thats some real music from america hilltop hoods are the best tho love them sound the same in concert as they do on cd they have music anyone can listen too

  • Yeah, they are identical sounding live.. was right up there last week for them... soooo awesome.

  • they are great they walk down the street with a 6pac in arms drinkin after the show an asked me where the after party was lol i got my photo takin an told them to go to the club across the road

  • Fuck yeah love artists like that. just chill act like normal people getting on pissed missions

  • must grow up in adelaide to understand this

  • no you dont if you were born in adelaide and lived there for 5 years you could still understand it

  • The reason why I like Hilltops so much is 'cuz their rap has a sense. Its not like "Goin to the club, gonna fuck every whore I look at.. PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!" I believe American rap CANNOT possibly stand against this kind of music. Hilltop Hoods and Stress are the best ones

  • i'm a big hilltop hoods fan, too. but still your comment doesn't make any sense at all since you stated that "american rap" in general is senseless bullshit clubmusic. maybe you should just go listen to stuff like cunninlynguists, dilated peoples, cymarshall law, eMC and so on.. you'll find stupid bullshit music in every genre & every country so there's no need to generalize and no need for prejudices
