  • what ever happened the the Putterman family? Where are they now?

  • @oopadur Maybe Duracell didn't really last very long.

  • GUESS NAWWWT

  • Is it just me, or do these guy's remind you of Kryten from Red Dwarf?

  • these commercials were better than the "think green" moral-superiority crap they spew now days that make me wish i was a robot.

  • epic and funny!!!

  • Zach: Larry Doty on the LOBSTER!!!

  • the guy named herb reminds me of the munsters

  • Duracell is to Energizer what Sega was to Nintendo. Or Pepsi was to Coke.

One had a more wholesome quality to it that everyone just went ahead and bought, and the opposing team was just a real bitch about it, taking constant potshots at the dude.

  • That beaver eats taco bell!

  • Genius ! This is as old as me, and it's just awesome :D

  • 0:14 - Barack Obama!

  • I always thought that they would be this Duracell Family into a tv show.

  • that used to creep me out.

  • creepy

  • stupid dolls ad funny too fuck faces

  • the puttermans look like something that would be on liquid televisions

  • "Duracell batteries outlast all other brands!" Except Energizer! FYI: That golfer should have used Energizer!

  • The "other battery" was actually meant to look like an obvious Energizer. This was made during the battery wars, Duracell would blatantly attack Energizer (as seen here) and Energizer would blatantly attack Duracell (with the "Supervolt" commercials which looked like obvious Duracells).

  • loved this commercial

  • creepiest stuff ever. Is that actually appealing to typical suburban Protestant Americans, or is it a satire on typical suburban Protestant Americans?

  • Thanks For Sharing this Classic ad.

I Can Tell Duracell & Energizer Were Real Competitive in the 90's. The "Other" Battery in This ad Looks Silver and Black, Like an Energizer, and in Energizer's ads, the Supervolt Batteries Were Black, Like a Duracell.

  • I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Good to see others notice the "battery war" ads.

  • So that's what Mitt Romney was up to in the '90s, eh?

  • That should cost him a "stroke"?? Wow.

  • scary....
