  • A comparison with Rachmaninov's recording of this marvellous transcription is unavoidably unfair to any pianist, but I would urge listeners to seek out Rachmaninov's interpretation for its unparalleled brio, panache and charm.

  • great job with the score, wonderful playing by Rosen on an extremely fine transcription. I am not even interested in the original piece after this!!!
