WTF why do people say "V-tec kicked in" it doesn't kick-in. Its always there weather your at high rpm or low rpm. It's part of your V.V.T. no spooling,no boost. Its a complex system that works with your lifters and camshaft if I'm not mistaken.

@zacnolegal I dont know hondas, but i think when it gets to a certain rpm the ecu engages the vtec function (wizardry basicly) and you get that surge of power. "Vtec kicked in yo" etc etc. someshit like that..

@0991ekul its run on oil pressure, at about 4000 rpm the oil pressure makes the inlet valves open more and thus make more power so yes it does kick in but honda is not the only company that has this every car maker has it, mitsubishi has mivec, nissan has vvl its all the same.

So far car has made 360rwkw but still need more fine tuning so should make 370rwkw+ when complete. Can't wAit to get it. It's got a 234/242 .640 .642 113.5lsa cam along with 12:1.1 compression and a fast 102mm manifold plus all supporting mods of course. And a ported and polished throttle body and port matched runners.
