My city has the RTSs, but all of them were Series 50 engine powered. The D-dot RTSs transmissions are the Allison V731 ATEC, VR731, and the ZF-ECOMAT-2HP-592.

No, it is a 1999 Nova RTS, that's why the Cummins engine sounds a little different.

I love this sound. Sounds like the RTS's Dallas got in the fleet. Hope there not retired anytime soon.

NJT Nova Bus RTS #1286 just recently had a new engine, that's why it sounds a lot different now.
