  • Solidarity to the working class of Portugal,Spain,Ireland,Italy and every country of Europe...To every worker, immigrant, unemployed, man and womam,youth...LONG LIVE the working class of Greece that fights every day Against our bosses,Greek Capitalists,EU and The IMF...

  • greetings from a german carpenter

    for all workers

  • Working class go! Cheers and oi!

  • First they ignore you, then they insult you, then they fight you. Then you win.

  • Great song and so timely.I teach students and only wish they have the fruits of the working class' labour but unfortunately the 1% only envisage death, poverty, illiteracy and misery for the vast majority of children around the world. Rise up the working class and sieze power and clear a road worthy for our children to enjoy.

  • Australian working class here (Electrician) Think that I'm 'stupid'? Have an extra $50 on your bill you fucking slut.

  • press ctrl and try like this comment

  • Keep up the Good Fight people! Remember, To Resist is To Win!

  • bad ass.. love it...

  • amazing amazing amazing

  • Hey, I'd much rather have some hours of hard labor than having no hours (like everyone else in the United States, myself included)!! >=[

  • @Palmer640 this isnt a song about that we shouldnt work, its about tha thing that WE the WORKINGCLASS, always dodge the bullets on the battlefield, WE stand at the frontline in battle for freedom, WE stand in the factory, WE BUILT THIS WORLD AND BY ALL THAT IS HOLY IT SHOULD BELONG TO US!!

That is what the song is about, long live the working class and death to the rich upperclass!!

  • @stenbonde I know, I'm saying... I have shit for hours. It's hard to find any jobs at all where I'm at.

  • Working Class for Life!!!!! Greets from Germany!!!!

  • dummass americans...

  • OKTOOOBERFEEEST :P

  • Im a workingclass hero ;-P. Greetings from Poland ! ;-)

  • @kanedog229 Capitalism is a system of self-interest given self-interest is basic to human nature. If corporations, board directors, bankers, ceos, can act in their own self-interest then logically speaking blue-collar workers ought to be given the same opportunities without ridiculing their greed.Economically speaking the U.S. competes quite well, thus the largest economy. Low-wage work also costs more for communities suggesting unions=lower deficits. Declining union membership=higher deficits.

  • like this if youll be working through the holidays for your fat cat bosses

  • I really like the fact that most of these comments have to do with inflammatory politics and not the awesomeness of this song.

  • @Mikainox : While I agree this song IS awesome, the song itself is about inflammatory politics. So, was sorta hard to avoid.

  • @DocMurphyish I know but i just thought there should be more comments on how great this song is, not random splotches of politics and such

  • @Mikainox this song is great because of the politics....that's the fucking point.

  • labor creates all wealth. fire your boss!

  • Part of the problem workers have is getting on the same page ie: Union / Non Union, and Public Sector/ Private Sector. The 1% likes to divide us along those lines. Non Union Private Sector needs to understand that an injury to one is a an injury to all. When we all stand together we have the chance to make serious change

  • OCCUPY the RICH!!!!

  • hail to all the workers around the globe and PROST!!!!

greetings from germany to all workers

  • @Nirvanan0tdead not all americans are spoiled. admittedly, most are, but I'm american, and I'm not lazy. i work out, i help others, and i do it without asking for anything but a thank you.

  • I dont work , huroo.

  • 4 people are unemployed :D

  • @MrXrostyx The unemployed are workers too, even more oppressed and demonised than most employed people. 4 people are bosses

  • it should be illegal to send jobs overseas for any country! any company that does should be closed, you dont like my comment fuck off!

  • @SA1933 I DO agree 100%. I'd happily pay a little extra at the cash register if I knew that my money was going to American workers from an American company providing American-made goods. I think that would go a long way towards cleaning up some of this mess.

  • A cop is just the short way of saying "bosses rent boy"

  • Pretty sad that Americans are for the most part consumers and not manufacturers. Until that changes, the fat cats will continue to run everything. Don't invest in large or foreign corporations, chances are there is someone in your town or city willing to do the same job!

  • @joelcline50 Amen, brother, AMEN!

  • Without the 1%, who's going to pay you for all that work? Yeah.

  • @JakobHayden You've just said something quite amazingly stupid.

  • @LupineSpacePirate How is that, exactly? Do explain.

  • @JakobHayden What you've just suggeted is that without the 1% money would not exist. You've implied that no one else would be capable of handling money without the 1%. Indeed, it's the 1% that have managed to so royally fuck the world economy.

  • @JakobHayden without the work of the 99% the 1% would not have the money to pay for that work. ya strange, strange lad

  • @SA1933 Yes, that's obviously correct, and further illustrates my point. It's called an "economy", and they've been around about as long as civilization itself.

  • @JakobHayden There's more than ample folks in the 99 that will pay for my services. the 1% can keep their blood money.

  • @jth2711 Well, yeah. There are some things people will FIND a way to pay for regardless of the economy, and there's no real shame in providing that service. After all, SOMEBODY'S going to make that money!

  • @JakobHayden Well look at that. It's not everyday day you get see a snot nosed Reaganite's latent homosexual tendencies displayed for everyone to see. Good job. Everyone on the board gets to see the real you. Happy Coming Out Day.

  • @jth2711 See how nasty this guy got? That's how you know when you've won the argument. Thank you very much for helping me prove my point, which is that all too often these "Liberal" and "Progressive" folks CLAIM to be all "peace and love and tolerance", but just as soon as you disagree with them the slurs and homophobia come right out, proving their intolerance and hatred towards anyone different from them. That's why nobody takes these people or their "movements" seriously, too much hypocrisy.

  • @JakobHayden I didn't get nasty with you. I poked you with a stick. You tried to the same thing to me insinuating I was I was a male hooker so I thought I'd turn it back on you. You didn't win an argument, you used a tactic out of the Karl Rove school of debate and I punched you in the mouth. I didn't use any slurs. I merely insinuated you were a closeted homosexual, which to the Conservative crowd is worse than being a child killer. I didn't do anything that you hadn't done to someone else

  • @jth2711 Male hooker? I thought you were selling dope. Hmmm, that speaks volumes to where YOUR mind is at. Nice try, bud, but it's a little late to pull that card, you already showed your colors and illustrated my point further. By all means, though, keep backpeddling, this is really fun to watch...

  • @jth2711 On a side note, I've heard of an organization that might be just right for you. They call themselves "The Imperial Knights of The Ku Klux Klan", and they hate gays too. They also hate black people and Jews if you're into that.

  • @JakobHayden Good attempt at deflection here, The problem is that I never said I hated anyone because I don't. I could care less about whether you're into men women or houseplants. I merely insinuated that you did care and it was what was at the core of your comment to me. I do not care whether you are black, or a Jew but I would imagine that you care deeply about that and that at your core it burns you that the Klan is a stain on the country's conscience otherwise you wouldn't have used it.

  • @jth2711 Mmmm-hm. Nobody said anything about gay people, YOU took it that direction immediately (but I'M the closet gay somehow). Tell yourself whatever you need to to feel better about your hate speech, nobody's paying attention anymore ... including me, I think you've perfectly illustrated my point already.

  • up the slaves!!

  • Because I can refer to enough that haven't

  • Can anyone refer me to a proletarian revloution that has went well?

  • @kennobody

the reform of the roman empire> 2 become christians!

  • @lorddwan Quite ironic that you should point to the Protestant reformations against the Catholics on a Dropkick Murphys song. Also, Catholics do consider themselves Christian, but all this is irrelevant. What's important is that following the Reformation Europe went to war for decades upon decades with various fluctuations between the nations involved. The Protestantism which triumphed over many countries also became a pillar of Conservatism- especially with the Puritans and the Presbytarians.

  • fuck those shity politicians, never like them and never will.

  • One of the greatest songs ever!, great job on the slide!

  • To me the photos just how much working conditions have improved... Don't see how you can compare workers today with 18th century mines. You have Labour movements borne from industrialiisation to thank for that. Besides that there was obvious advances in technology. Notice Labour movements- not revolution- revolution has never lead to a progressive government directly, that is erroneous knne-jerk reaction talking.

  • @kennobody from ireland i am, 2008 the page was made... shite has come to all countries, since then. politicans not care what we want, so to vote is no sense.. revolution the only way! workers of the world unite!

  • Corporate Greed is Public Enemy #1. Occupy Labor, Organize. Demand to be heard, demand your rights. Together we bargain divided we beg. Solidarity from Virginia!

  • FUCK THE CORPORATE PIGS

    FUCK THE POLITICIANS

    FUCK THE GREED

    ROCK ON REVOLUTION

  • @brokenbones199 YEAH MAN AND HOIST THE ERIN HIGH!

  • P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

  • It's not about communism or capitalism. The main thing - a man's conscience.

Any good idea spoiled greedy people.

Anarchy - the mother of order.

  • WORKING MEN AND WOMEN OF THE WORLD! UNITE!

  • As just a minor i thank all those workers.... we would be nothing without you

  • Greetings to all hard working peoples in the world from Ukraine!

  • @INbredMonarchy Fine. Greetings from Ukraine for American rockers. My cousin lives in Rehoboth Beach ;) .

  • @ur5kby Cool.

  • hi i see there are millions of YouTube comments but please Read anyway. I write original songs and sing , they are ruff but real, we are acoustic but will go electric for most songs Getting a fanbase is really difficult for artists and bands, still undiscovered by the big music labels, so it would really mean a lot to me if you could check out my channel and listen to my songs. If you could Llike' This Comment, that would be great too, so other people can see this comment thanks Apex13 ;]

  • greetings to all hard working peoples in the world from germany........

  • united we stand!!!! no pasaran - nos pasaremos!!!

  • Yeah...THumbs up if you're UNEMPLOYED !

  • 99% Bosses and bankers better hope the police carry more than 100 bullets 'cos their time is up. But if they kill us all they've got to do the shit jobs ha Ha Ha....we win whichever

  • 99% forever......

  • Workers! We are 99%! 1%, let it burn in hell.

  • @ur5kby And...would you help them do so or just be happy with opening your mouth ?

  • @ur5kby Yeah! This planet needs a change!!! Let's do the revolution for our children!

  • @ur5kby without the 1% there would be no 99%.you should see that.every thing you have came from a 1%.INLESS YOU A AMISH.

  • @catoway74 Actually the working man creates everything... the 99% is the only reason the 1% makes money. with out the 99% the world would fall apart...

  • PROLETARIANS OF THE WORLD UNITE! CAPITALISM IS AT HIS END! LET'S MAKE THE MOTHER FUCKING REVOLUTION!

  • @HeadHunteR1988 Communist piece of shit!

  • @Dorkus89Malorkus If I am shit, then what are you?

  • @HeadHunteR1988 I am the guy from who's anus you came out.

  • @HeadHunteR1988

lol, a greek whos fighting for communism......

  • @sechsundachzig I am fighting for anarchy. Libertarian Communism. Capitalism has ruined our lives.

  • @HeadHunteR1988

I wonder how it still gives people who are for kommonismus. where that has ever worked? Capitalism is not the problem, but the financial system.

  • @sechsundachzig Seriously. Anyone who is for it has never lived it. And you'll never find anyone who pushes for communism likes it as an idea, but will disavow any previous implementation as not "true communism". Okay. Try living it and see if you like it. I hear North Korea is hungry for subjects.

  • @HeadHunteR1988 Same here my brother!

  • @HeadHunteR1988 I'm pretty sure that's not how it works.

  • @HeadHunteR1988 Nope

  • @superwolf95 I don't fucking care son of the bitch. You are with the working people or you are not. Capitalist mother fucker.

  • @HeadHunteR1988 so, what do you suggest instead of capitalism? and what do you mean for "capitalism", i think it's a definition a bit too generic

  • @superwolf95 Libertarian Communism. Not Marxism. Freedom, equality, solidarity. See Barcelona and Katalonia in general at 1936. They had organised their society without authority. Anarchists CNT-FAI.

  • @HeadHunteR1988 Its important be clear about the problems with the Spanish Revolution. One problem being its defeat! The CNT refused to seize power - ie; coordinate the different workers councils that had been established.

  • @yabigspoon Militant defeat by fascists(Franco Mussolini, Hitler). The problem was not at CNT-FAI.

  • @HeadHunteR1988 Libertarianism is NOT in the best interests of the workers. Libertarian Communism is an oxymoron.

  • @MsJCBurke God damn. It is another thing liberalism and neoliberalism and in some cases libertarianism and another thing libertarian communism. Libertarian Communism is Anarchist Communism. See Catalonia 1936 with CNT-FAI.

  • 4 people are in the 1%.

  • "The upper class get's all the money, pays none of the taxes.

The middle class pays all the taxes, does all the work.

The poorer are there just to scare the shit out of the middle class. Keep on showing up at those jobs." George Carlin

  • god blees

  • This song. Reminds me of my grandfather. A man, nearly 70, that still cuts wood every day. Took a 6ft branch to his head, from 40ft up. No hardhat. Drove himself to the hospital (20 miles), got stitched up, went back to cutting wood, in the dead of winter at that. A man that plays with bee hives for fun. A man that has supported 4 daughters and a son, and a wife. Worked all his life, and continues to do so.

I'd like to think this song was made for him and his ilk.

  • Tha Dislike line is bigger than justi....

No i wornt bring such a loser to this songe..

Tha Dislike line is bigger than my sisters...

    .........ahh...?

  • and to put it the way george carlin put it once;

Upper Class gets all the money

Middle Class does all the work

And Lower Class is just there to scare the middle class into working harder

  • 1:15 should be the symbol for a hard working American Flag or Patch!

  • "The reason the American worker doesn't object to what the wealthiest 1% is doing to them, is because they are under the delusion that it's only a matter of time before they join their ranks."

    *paraphrased

  • To the people who make this country run, the white collars can suck a fat one!

  • proud to be a baker

  • @Matzgore138

    Hear Hear

  • LOL the first three pictures of workers are mexicans

  • @TheSunWillDieOut And?

Ok, so according to you, this music doesn't apply to Mexicans? You're a cunt.

  • @TheSunWillDieOut Yep. This called the "Workers Song" after all. It cares naught of creed, race, or background. If you're a worker, no matter your origin, this song is for you. Mexicans, Blacks, Whites, the Red man, the yellow man, women.....hell, even Gingers. They all have a place in this song. A worker is a worker.

  • @AndrewDeLong 99.9% of Dropkick Murphys' songs are about irish people and their struggle and I had no idea a song could care...

  • proud to be a bricklayer!! :)

  • steelworker all the way.

  • I'm watching this on my work laptop :3

  • I love this band i have a few albums but can someone tell me what type of band it is lol is it like, Folk music + punk + rock = Awesome can someone actually tell me where there from and stuff i know they maybe from boston as they have that in alot of songs but im guessing its like an irish type band sorry i suck at music

  • 美国工会组织和中国的工会组织,需要更多的交流与合作,特别需要务实与创新。U.S. trade unions and trade unions in China, the need for more exchanges and cooperation, in particular, need to be pragmatic and innovative

Fight! Fight! Is always the fate of the working class.

  • 世界工人阶级,需要更加团结的斗争!The world working class, need to be more united struggle!

I visit the websites an d post comments with the assistance of machine translation. Thanks my friends for their understanding, support and help."

  • @Tommyfazz I would say that is workingf>ckingclass, damn! :)

  • Amen! lol

  • I was in the Marines from 2002 to 2007, now I work on commercial fishing boats in Seattle's Fisherman's Terminal. Dropkick Murphy's has always spoken to me on some level. I went to their show in NY and goddamn it was good.

  • I was in the Marines for 5 years now I work on commercial fishing boats in Seattle's Fisherman's Terminal. Dropkick Murphy's has always spoken to me on some level. I went to their show in NY and goddamn it was good.

  • This song always reminds me how good it was to work with carpenters during school breaks, and work with the wood as it takes shape. :)

  • come on you wobblies!

  • Love these guys, Thanks for the great music! I am fighting the war in Wisconsin and you really get me going when I feel defeat. Thank you.

    democracyscott@yahoo.com

  • Workers of the world, unite!

  • This song makes me proud to be a dishwasher.

We are not lower class. We are the ones society fucks in the ass.

  • @captainpunkrock69 If it wasn't for dishwashers the bosses would die of food poisening. pity they don'ty see it that way

  • @rorybowskill I know right. My aunty refuses to go to Ruby Tuesdays anymore because she thinks she got sick from it. I think someone didn't treat their dishwasher right xD

  • @captainpunkrock69 Maybe you should have tried harder in school or been more ambitious with your life. Only people that should be washing dishes are high schoolers and retirees that get bored.

  • @BushyX im a highschooler >>

  • @captainpunkrock69 Then what are you crying about? Society doesn't fuck you in the ass, society allows you to get an education and make a little extra money on the side doing a very easy job. You got it made bud.

  • @captainpunkrock69 ya got dat right brother, the upper-class is always screwin the workin class over. I can't really stand rich folk myself.

  • @TheRobertBelmont IMO the worse thing about many of the upper class is how they think they somehow are better than everyone else, like that they "worked harder" or something like that so they deserve superiority. on top of that, i'm 17 and most of these people i know are kids who haven't worked a day out of the classroom.

  • @captainpunkrock69 Yeah, tell me bout it, I'm 19 most people my age are in college or still in high school. I'm working a full time construction job. So I feel your pain man.

  • @TheRobertBelmont thats good for you though. i can't wait to get a job and be in the real world and all. i'm probably going to college mainly for the experience you know? thats all ive ever really wanted from school not all this complicated get ahead bullshit that my parents and everyone around me try to tell me. i just want to enjoy the pleasures and dramas that come with being in school. "reaching the top" has never been my goal because more or less that involves stepping on others

  • @captainpunkrock69 Yeah I never wanted to leave the blue collar working area, I'm going back to school just to become a state police officer. I mean it would be nice to be a detective, but I'd rather just do it to help and protect others.

  • @TheRobertBelmont that is a really admiral aspiration. kind of like a more grown up version of my superhero dream lol

  • @TheRobertBelmont I miss the factories. I worked with generations of families from Grandparents down. My Dad and I both worked at the same one until he retired and I got laid off.

  • @captainpunkrock69 Dam Fucking Right.WE just need to defend our rights more openly.WE use our hand unlike THose Higher ups Siting on their asses and doing nothing

  • @virko1990 the thing is, our deluded society has this idea that money is directly correlated to how hard you work, so to even many working class people, the division of wealth seems justified.

  • Comment removed

  • Really, someone thinks teachers aren't in the working class?
