  • Japan is heavily reliant on export. They have no natural resources, they must export goods and services. Appreciation of Yen will hurt Japan because their goods will be more expensive to the world market making them less competitive to other export countries.

  • The court historians are rewriting history court reporters are dictating the future and court jesters are keeping the public distracted through script on the Tell Lie Vision Altar in the "Living" room

The government isn't out of control It's in full control

  • LOL some ppls are bursting pleasure here.

Japan is not reliant on export anyway.

    export/GDP Japan 13.4% China 37.5% Korea 42.5%

Yen is getting stronger in the crisis because it is trusted.

Korea's economy is really dangerous though.

  • Every one in the world, buddy, not just China, Japan, Korea the U.S and the europe. It is the whole world going though a really tough time.

  • They could always export more hentai.

  • in this recession the hentai market has been afloat because of me

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • @Inkan1969 hahahaha....

  • Historically China and Japan used to be in competition for military dominance over their region. Korea, Vietnam and other states were always their playground. But now that Japan is America's bitch. China and foreign power America dominate this region. I wonder when Japan will get back into the game or has it given up?

  • I think Japan will eventually get in the head of the game with the support of Russia. I should know I live here.

  • Well, tbh Japan have never been much of a competitor of Chinas untill the last 100year, mostly cuz of chinas civil war and failed industrialization. except for thee 1895 sinojap war, japan never really won a single war with china in the entire history, besides, almost everything in japan was learned from China anyway, even including the SUMO wresling, written language, kimono, geisha, forging of samraj sword etc. things that most ppl would think is traditionally japanese.

  • Though you could say that China's current success is based on that they finally allowed themselves to learn from someone else and follow the economic growth formula invented by japan 150 years ago. When China grows too proud they grow blind that's when the japanese strike the knife in the back on their larger neighbour.

  • Back in the 80's everybody was sure of that Japan was going to overtake the US. I think the 2010's will look similar but with China as the major competitor. However, it's amazing how eveything can turn into quite the opposite all of the sudden.

I the next major super power will be something in the same style as the EU (maybe if China and Japan settled their issues with korea in the middle).

  • Actually Japan has been down since the early 90es. As for China, at worst they will grow by 9% this year. This is hardly a recession imho.
