@kellumspawn I agree with you man The first song I ever heard was The suffering then I went backwards through the records, by the time I Junesong Provision ended I knew I had found a band I would always love (and I still do) but I've only been able to listen to the newer records a once or twice (I actually really like pearl of the stars). I still hope that they'll make another record I really love and at least we still have the earlier records!

Year of the Black Rainbow was awesome in my opinion, you see the band has matured and listening to the album made me feel like heroic and like I grew with Claudio and the music. Especially listening to the last song on the album, you feel proud. I know I did.

When they released Year of the Black Rainbow, I swore off Coheed for good.

They became my favorite band when I was 13. I am 20 now, and this video just reminds me that they will always hold that place. No matter how badly they've disappointed me, it can never erase the beauty they created back then. It makes me want to cry- thinking of how they will never be this good again.

Time to go stew in my own disappointment after posting this comment that broadcasts how much of a pussy I am.

I really dont think it could hold a flame to IKSOSE3 or Second stage.

Good apollo v1 was amazing and v2 even had a few jewels..

Yeah. This was a long time ago though. As you can see Claudio's hair is much shorter. Coheed and Cambria didn't make an impact back then. Claudio even said they were barely lucky to get 10 kids to the door.

Not the words. He's playing a full octave up on the first two chords. It may just be because he's using a different tuning, or different guitar, but he's definitely playing differently.

he's not playing it any differently than it normally is -- the first two chords are just barred B5's on the 9th fret in drop D tuning, just the way it is in the album. though the two dots on the seventh fret do give the illusion that he is on or above the 12th fret
