Wow, I'm still using the steel shortsword I got when the Blade Captain was killed at the beginning of the game. It may seem bad, but it's lighter than most weapons and it does the same damage. It works for me.

Guys , i just downloaded oblivion on the xbox 360 , and if i go to cloud ruler temple, the game freezes , does anybody know what i can do about it?

You have to keep doing missions until you get to Cloud Temple then after Martin'z speech is done or whatever talk to Jauffre and he will ask you to join the Blade

omg u suck the trick is leveling up doing side quests/faction quests before going to kavatch then you get really good stats and you are better at the game i was lvl 6 befor going to kavatch and now i'm lvl 12 and i oly just finished the gate in bruma

if u want to be strong go to arena u can get money if u won it is in emperial city and there is the best defence and some market that u can buy

Argonian for Security raise and swimming, a custom class with the primaries as Light Armor, Blade, Marksman, Speed, Agility, Acrobatics, and two of your own choice. The recommended Birthsigns are I believe, the Thief, Steed, Shadow, or Tower.

I've taken some of the Blades equipment but lost most of them. Do any of these armor pieces respawn?

No. You could always just stealthily kill one of them and jack his stuff.

Jauffre has one, he usually dies at the end of the game, you can take it then.

how do you join the blades?

In the Main Quest line your asked if you would like to Join by Baurus or Jauffre

depending on who you end the misswion talking to. But I think because of your actions you can always join the Blades.

you can always stand outside the temple and wait for him too come out press the back button to wait if you have the Xbox 360 version.

you get to join the blades right after you drop off Martin and Juaffre to Cloud Ruler Temple....just talk to Jauffre after Martin gives his speech and he well tell you if you want to join the blades.
