Season 2 is already in progress here in the states. They already aired ep. 4. The producers said they only made 7 episodes, and if it doesn't do well enough, they'll cancel the show. Hopefully it succeeds this time. I don't know how long it takes for the show to get syndication outside the U.S.. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Interesting the comments I got. Frankly, I think it should be a sliding scale. The more the intellectual property makes, the greater the percentage the writers make. It would encourage quality work.
I love how the strikers have the spare time to "thumbs down" any negative responses. My point of insulting the writers of Jericho is simply to crudely get my point across that writers should not be treated as common laborers and subsist on a baseline salary (i.e. 4 cents or 8 cents of DVD sales etc) their salary should depend entirely on the success of the project, because, in essence, they are providing the backbone of the entire project.
....Aren't they ALREADY being paid entirely on the success of the project? If no one watches a particular show, it gets cancelled, won't be reaired = NO PAYCHECK, besides the little money they recieve per episode BOUGHT by the studios.
The writers make the show what it is, pure and simple. Let's come to a resolution already. Jericho is a fantastic show that I've gotten lots of people hooked on.

Without writers you get blank pages! That's a fact. Another fact is that people work for money and writers deserve to be paid for doing their job. Whatever your favorite show is - support the writers.
We Jericho Fans are "loud" in our support because this is about the future of TV in general. We want quality TV; we want quality internet content; we want quality entertainment, and we wont' get it without quality writers. Pay them already!

I love Jericho and all of the writers who have been underpaid and underappreciated for some time now. I think they deserve what they ask for. If it weren't for them, the actors wouldn't have become who they are.

Looks like she didn't want to be saved for your show - she has bigger and better things in sight. But, since you feel Jericho fans didn't support you, you're going to vent against Jericho. God... Talk more about Battlestar..., but Jericho.. you deserve no royalties for the snore -fest of a TV series, I was in support of the strike, but after seeing this I think some fresh talent would do the TV world a load of good.
No, think it- they should get the same percentage of royalties, irregardless- if there is less overall, (assuming you are right in your assessment of the quality and/or popularity of the show), then they get less overall- but they should still get the same percentage in any event.

Sad to see this is an end. My family here in Malaysia are really a big fan of Jericho. Hope I can do more than this to keep Jericho "alive". Thanks.

If the AMPTP don't want a deal,tell them that WGA wil get the Feds to come in and look at the books and see what happens.
