Where were you when the Smothers Brothers needed you? The Smothers had a rep for letting the new rock, soul, and blues groups go at it live on their show, but for this one they had Steppenwolf lip-synch and mime. What you did with those clips to make this video is justice. A shame it was about twelve years before the advent of MTV---this song deserved to be a bigger hit.
