By the way, though Kelly Hansen is patently lip-synching (along with the rest of the bands' play-synching), he is lip-synching to his own vocal, not Lou Gramm's. At some point they took the original record, removed Gramm's vocal, and recorded Hansen's, which is their stock "live television performance" vehicle for the song. Bands do this all the time, particularly for "live" television performances.

Yes. This is the original record with the new lead singer's voice substituted. Notice how the camera doesn't hold still on the lead singer's mouth very long. If you listen in stereo you'll hear that even the panning of the original background vocals (on the cold-cold-cold as-as-as- iiiiiice bit) from the original record shows up--- a dead giveaway that they are pre-recorded.

we used to listen to this music over and over..( soemtimes youd get watsed and the 8 track just keeps repeating itself after track 4 , i have no idea why they called it 8 track anyways, there were 4 with a couple songs or tree on each track..i was 18 then back in the early 80`s so i guess the album had been out for a while... i discovered AC/DC and Black sabbath and Led zeppelin, Heart, Jimmy Hendrix, Styx, LOTS of Excellent Bands to Pick from. Concerts were on weekends, with full stadiums

Hey...am just glad a band from my youth has reformed, making new music that once can actually hear the words to, understand where they started from. Lou, sorry to say lost his voice via means not under his control, via a brain tumor. Kelly provides a younger talent and is well deserved. Lou has since started his own Christan Band, which is cool and Kudo's for him doing so. Just appreciate both, on what they are trying to do...and that is to allow some of us older "folks" to enjoy music again.
