Turt. In your opinion, what are the most effective snipers in order from worst to best?

Effective is an interesting word... How about I I tell you my favorite snipers in order from least to best.

1. R700 (it isn's horrid on it's own but the M40 has more power, larger clip, less recoil, more accuracy, and similar shooting feel so there is no reason to ever use it).

2. Barret 50 caliber (has bullet penetration and rapid semi-auto action but has severe lack of consistancy)

3. M21 solid sniper with lower power but great for headshots.

4. Drag - mix of .50 and 21.

5. M40. Nuff said.

M40 is defenitely "nuff said" but I have to say Dragonuv is a little too unsure of a 1 hit kill so I'd put Barret in front of it. The m21 is a nice sniper but once again, usually not a 1 hit kill unless headshot. R700, however, does suck and is pointless with m40a3 in the game.

acctually the r700 has the same damage as barrett, and more accuracy than the barrett

Did you read the comment? I was not comparing the .50 and the R700, I was pointing out that everything besides the R700 has a different balance of things while it is beaten in everything by M40 so it is completely worthless to compare to anything else since it is irrelevant.

The bars in the game mean nothing... The m40 IS THE MOST POWERFUL GUN IN THE GAME... And if you put acog on it, it gets +5 damage... Check the files if ya want... It's there. :)

the barrett has way more damage, and when ever i use acog m40 it seems to do less damage i still like it though

Pfffff the m40 with acog will kill anything any the game, cept juggernoobs, and often times if you hit them in the chest it will kill them, you have to use stopping power too.. The acog scope give the m40 +5 damage...

dude juggernaut isnt a noob perk if you use it corectly and can be anoying i know but the only perk that is a total noob perk is marterdom

r700 is the most powerful gun in the game, but it has the lowest accuracy of any of the snipers which is why hardly anybody likes it

I never get it. You are playing HQ, why not go after it? I mean yeah you got crazy skills but its an objective map/game.

Have you ever watched me play much? With a sniper I do not charge in quite as much, but I still go for the HQ and a pistol is a very effective weapon to clear it out. My job is to make it easier for everyone else and assist in all parts of the round. Ask anyone that plays with me, my presence makes things work out much more often.
