  • World first Sinestra!

  • Does anyone else see the album name and think about Homestuck?

    No...?

I'll just... Just shut up, then. :D

  • @FrostxSongxWolfX3 Homestuck is boring. ;-; I'm on Act 4 because I vowed to try to see why people are saying it's "The best story I've ever read" and "It's Absolutely Amazing" It's still boring and confusing...

  • Funny, you guys wouldn't have liked it in its original form that Beethoven wrote it. :D

  • @chomag725 it's pretty much the same thing, i like the original version, but i think this one is richer, is like an orchestral version, not just the piano.

  • This song can be good for a scary movie

  • & Richard Clayderman :P

  • Do you see that red dislike section? Yeah me niether.

  • think of dancing tango to this... pure passion

  • @MissSariTie God, now every time I hear this, I want to dance tango to it :D

  • @PandaLily326 haha, me too!!! but who dances with me...? :D

  • I want this song played at my funeral

  • This was originally a Beethoven song:)

  • @Runningmaniac1996 Any educated person would know that. E.S. Posthumus just made it sound epic.

  • Man creates music, but music creates pathways for man to walk on.

  • @XungYrutz Huh?

  • omg, im playing this song for a competition. If only i could play half as good as this, i would win it for sure.

  • So good!!!

  • CUE FLAME WAR BETWEEN RE AND SH FANBOYS EVEN THOUGH THE ONLY RESEMBALANCE BETWEEN THE TWO IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE BOTH SURVIVAL HORROR GAMES

  • The day SOPA and PIPA passed.

  • Comment removed

  • fifteen people drank the same mineral water Beethoven had drunk, and In their frustration disliked this video.

  • Beethoven wrote moonlight sonata

  • I played Moonlight in school as a music piece, but if I heard THIS before I played it, I would have done it 100% better! Beethoven could write music and this guy could play!!!

  • What a Happy Fun Time Song ! XD

    or. . maybe not.

  • Hey, this isn't half-bad. It's not going all-out rock, but it still manages to sound modern while also respecting the classic Beethoven composition.

    Bravo!

  • @SgtMarcReynol Half-bad?HALF BAD?!?!?!?THIS IS FUCKIN AWESOME!

  • Damn, everyone is intellectual smarter then me here I can't troll!

  • @totterycarrot gg at moments like this u gota bail lolz

  • PARAGON WOW

  • @GKid51892 this guy clearly has skills, yes. his original work is quite good. but i will not call a Beethoven "remix" a work of genius or consider it artistic mastery. sorry.

  • sometimes, its darkest just before dawn.

  • Sorry guys, but the perfect accompaniment to this would be a low distorted guitar, bass and some gentle death metal vocals trailing in the distance. I must say how ever, the music itself stands timeless and a signature of that which is Earth.

  • silent hill, anyone?

  • @brontosaurious Nope.

  • @KarhuTheBeast silent hill 1? or maybe silent hill origins?

  • @brontosaurious I still don't see any connections. Beethoven composed Piano Sonata No. 14 in 1801.

  • @brontosaurious In the Resident Evil Remake for Gamecube this song was part of a puzzle

  • @onwardparasites dude, silent hill is better than resident evil

  • @brontosaurious Depends on which one

  • The reason people in the past were such great and phenominal composers and musicians is because they had perseverance, dedication, commitment and most importantly passion. Nowadays that doesn't exist as greatly as it did in the past. People have become less creative and unthoughtful in their work. Music like this will NEVER appear again.

  • I want to play Resident Evil now......

  • Una delle composizioni delle mie preferite, mi centro l'anima e cuore per l'universo. Si alluminara la via del giorno, vi darà la forza di cui avete bisogno. Avere un giorno fabulozo amici.

  • I love this song so much.

  • Wow, this is moving....

  • I like this, but come on, Beethoven was epic long before E.S. Posthumus came along.

  • @najae808

true but you gotta admit this is pretty good too, this guy has some talent..listen to his "Nara" song its SO AMAZING..omg so many instruments its so unique

  • @MuzikJunkee18 i agree, this guy is majorly talented. but comments like the one below mine. saying he makes even Beethoven sound epic, that's just ridiculous. consider the fact that Beethoven composed a majority of his works, some of the most timeless pieces of classical music in history, while he was stone-deaf. he had musical genius beyond comprehension. there's a reason his work is still highly recognized today. don't get me wrong, this guy is amazing, but give credit where credit is due.

  • @najae808 True.. The oldest masterpieces are the foundations for musicians and other artists today, but with every generation comes new seeds of artistic mastery. And E.S. capitalizes on that.

  • @najae808 Seconding this opinion. This is a nice, if not excellent remix, but it can not replace the killer original.

  • leave it to E.S. posthumus to make anything (yes, even beethoven) sound epic.

  • but all you have forgot one thing... give thanks to beethoven for invent this beautiful song

  • @hahahawoteverlol HAHAHAHA! I agree with you man.

  • amazing

    BRAVÍSSIMO

  • isn't that the symbol for Capricorn?

  • This is what I hear in my head when I close my eyes.

    It makes me feel invincible

  • I have so much respect and awe of beethoven and incredible human being truly one of a kind how can a deaf person make this

  • comment removed for the use of too much passion.

  • @heyheymister reply removed for the use of too much passion.

  • @evabellgardens reply of reply removed for the use of too much passion.

  • Amazing.

  • i just came.

  • @ozzjamesozz from where? .....oh.....

  • 0:00 replay button for all!!

  • @Silverwing179 meh? hmmz i think its more mehr :p

  • Where is the repeat button?

  • This song is so epic. they wrote an epic song to play in a trailer for this song.

  • disable this fucking ad' of shit at the begining, boring to wait the music lol

  • @DominarTyranT1 Haha think of it as a build up of sorts lol

  • 14 children in denial

  • Franz didn't really die. He was simply taken up into Heaven to play for God's orchestra and compose the ending theme for The Apocalypse - and it shall be fucking epic!

  • @Excedrine Too bad the best theme we'll ever hear will kill us... D:

  • @ZZSFAN There are few better ways to die. :D

  • @Excedrine Not just Franz. Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmanoff, all kinds of pianists and composers. Oh, and Chopin.

  • There is no description for this. It just is.

  • i love the original version

  • Top notch

  • <3

  • This is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time...

I never get tired of listening to it :)

  • I love this!!!

  • Okay I wasn't expecting all the other instruments but that was epic!

  • If Beethoven was alive to hear this, he'd probably shit and jizz his pants at the same time, like many of us here did.

  • @Gh0stbusta You have a good point, i love this song... but wasn't Beethoven deaf? :P

  • @LilRen89 he wasn't always deaf. Late in life he went death, which some then believe caused him to compose things the way he did (he broke a lot of "rules" about composing music for his time).

  • @LilRen89 I had a stupid comment anyway, I was debating on deleting it.

  • Sometimes there's so much beauty in the MUSIC, I feel like I can't take it, and my heart is just going to cave in.

  • @ladyeleanor7 You have a point......

  • 14 people have no ear!

  • what a great masterpiece!!!

  • this is great but I still prefer it much more in it's original version ;]

  • this song is my day to day Batnan disquise

  • Incredible rendition!

  • wow..

  • What a LOVELY remake. <3 I love this song forever <3

  • awesome!!!!!! thats all i can say

  • E.S Posthumus best producer(s) of this time.

  • my damn keyboard is too short for this increadible piece of epicness :(

  • (which is nice)

  • anyone who's into music do you notice the constant shift of key?

  • @28830302thijs Only because ES Posthumus is too cool to be required to stay in the same key XD

  • So epic...sooooo epic

  • Damn I'm loving this!!!!!

  • E.S. Posthumus always makes the most beautiful songs! i love their work!

This and Nara are the best they have made! i adore those songs, I'm obsessed with this sort of gorgeous epic music! :)

  • 13 dislikes? 13 people obviously have no taste in music whatsoever. Nothing put out by E.S. Posthumus is ever worth disliking. This and The Cartographer are my two favorite songs.

  • This version is realy shit ...

  • @Nympp "This version"?

  • @infantryhawk

Moonlight Sonata was originally composed by Beethoven, so this is just a version of his original work. Of course, it really is an amazing arrangement :D

  • @1918me Nah, Beethoven did a cover of this. ;) Lolz

  • @Nympp

    I beg your pardon?

  • Shitt what did Everdox say? lol

  • curse you sasukes brother i will get you back... some how.

  • "They thought they had escaped the Horror...But it was only the beginning of their Nightmare."

    "Where's my Jill Sandwich?"

    "Right this way Mr. Burton."

BIO-HAZARD aka RESIDENT-EVIL REMAKE/REMAKE coming out soon with remastered E.S.Posthumus Moonlight Sonata. Enjoy the epic sounds of horror. You will simply just...DIE FROM PURE AWESOMENESS.

  • Do I smell bacon?

  • @NotYourDadStupid I wish I was smelling bacon..... :/

  • @Kittiekat207 Agreed

  • BEETHOVEN. (l)

  • Yih

  • Inspiration wrapped in genius and basted with sexual bliss.

  • I tried to set this piece of art as my ringtone, but the phone said the song is way too epic to be played from it's little speaker :-(

  • Two Steps From Hell and now this. Good stuff.

  • ( ಥـْـِـِـِـْಥ) ~♥

    Me Gusta

  • I've heard this song somewhere but I dont remember where ...

  • I'm happy to see that there are no pathetic dumbasses on this vid who say "this song would go epic with taking a shit"

  • @FormalStudies real men dont cry they weep

  • @Ubertastic Truer words have never been spoken...well ok, yes they have, but your words are quite true as well lol

  • This is song vampires would playing at a grand ballroom party. Mmm so enchanting.

  • @blulaguna18 Vampires aren't real...

  • @SgtRevan Neither is revan....

  • @dragnarok1134 Never implied he was.

  • @SgtRevan I know. I was just fantasize. Peeps can't fantasize about what a song does to their mind while listening now? Geez. Have a heart for the mind.

  • @blulaguna18 correction: fantasizing.

  • @blulaguna18 Sure you can fantasize I just get a little ticked off when people associate everything with Twilight. Sorry.

  • @SgtRevan I wasn't even thinking of Twilight when i was listening to this. I don't like Twilight. I only watch it for watching sake, because i can't stand people bitching about not seeing it.

  • For the record this isn't a remix, its an arrange, they didn't modify any of the actual song they just added on to it and put it to a full symphony orchestra.

Its very very good, wish they had put in some kind of guitar solo at some point, but thats just me.

  • I used to love this song until I noticed very faintly the percussion is doing some kind of stupid fast-jazzy ridiculousness on bongos or something... Now it's all I can heari

  • this is the best cover of Monlight Sonata ever!!!!

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEED ALBUM NOW. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

  • Posthumus means After death. Just wanted to point that out :p

  • This is how Beethoven would have done it, if he only had the instruments.

  • C'mon you guys this is not a chat room. Post a comment and then piss off.

  • These guys make Trans-Siberian Orchestra sound like amateurs - the way these guys play just gives you the feeling of being back in history. :o
