Khanom buang!!!! I love those little buggers but never found out the name. I've been calling them coco-flips for years. So light and crisp and yum. Cheap too. Even with the tourist "upcharge" that seems to happen.
I think it's called Khanom Buang. I frequent eat them when there're Thai markets in my town - organised by Thai Consulate to promote friendship between countries sharing the borders. Besides that, there are also Thai-Chinese decendents in my country that made event more meaningful
Lol im from the U.s but in ST.l ever year a thai fair or smome time have diffrent people selling food from deffrent regions come last year i spent 50$ on their lol at the thai food fair they were a 1$ each

it has 2 flavours sweet and salted
1 can$ u can get 10-15 peices depends on where u live.... bangkok will be more expensive than chiangmai....

These are known as khanom buang - little crispy pancakes made from a rice flour batter, topped with thick coconut cream and shredded coconut.
Defintely one of my favourites and must-eats whenever I'm in Thailand
