  • fuckin snakeskin suit, thats double tough yo!!!!!!

  • Saw em. Houston Middle-late 80's while in college. Small venue. Best damn show thanks so much for putting these up here...

  • I wish I had a suit like that.

I wonder if aliens in deep space are picking up his guitar noises and saying "We must flee, or we will surely die."

  • In Russia, Dodge drive you

  • Even though they're so aggressive, they're so melodic... I love their music :-)

  • WOW!!! Never heard this one - they sound like the Clash here, but that's no bad thing! Totally awesome!

  • saw these guys in Rochester in 1985 and was blown away. I wonder where they are now ? Still active in music ? Any of them ? The drummer was great.

  • Pounding Bass & drums plus searing guitar. No BS - just "here we are, can you handle this Motherfcukers?" There aren't enough superlatives for this video.

  • Bill Carter - underrated, unique, genius.

Amazing band, saw them live over a dozen times, every gig seared into my (then) teenage conciousness.

  • How can people stand at the front row of this show and not show any emotion or even appear to be enjoying themselves?

  • Saw these guys at the old Ritz in 1986. It's criminal that they're relegated to obscurity while GREEN DAY has a friggin' Broadway play.

  • Eees amazing. So much betters than Russian bans. Russian bands make musiks sound like cat crying.

  • Genius borders on insanity

    So don't be mistaken

    Bill Carter is insane..........

    Insanely genius!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, every 20 years or so a band like this shows

up to kick everyone's butt and resurrect rock n' roll.

Bill Carter, the singer, was on a mission!!!!!!

  • Great song, great performance! Awesome band!

And some girls drive their own Dodge, zo te zien (that's dutch)...

  • great post Lee, you and Grant are saints for sharing your treasure's with those (me) that crave the sounds/video of anything the messiahs recorded

  • Best live band ever! Saw them at the Elephant Fayre mid eighties. The combination of lights, music and rain with all the people and the occasional dog bouncing up and down made it a magical experience. Or was it the mushrooms?

  • If your ever pissed off just play this tune at full vol , get 4 cans of beer and shut the fuck up.

  • HAHAHA Deadeye this is the funniest post I've read...great

  • probably best live concert I ever saw at the Ritz in NYC. right up there with Ministry & Swervedriver

  • They remind me of a band i once saw called, Twenty flight rockers .

    sbm nice.

  • this band is actually one who's live performance was way better than the records they did...

  • My God, Bull Carter is a God.

  • /watch?v=4DVXIRL_VYw

  • Guitar, Bass, Drums...all I'll ever need!

  • All I ever wanted in Rock and Roll! Love the Cramps too.

  • love this band. sounds like on of their influences was love and rockets.

  • Yeah, Yin and Yang the Flower Pot Man

  • Saw them in Atlanta at 688 mid-1980s. Best show ever, and I saw Hendrix!

  • Very Cool rainydayrex, that is a fantastic endorsement if ever I heard one, never saw Hendrix but soooo very pleased to have seen the Messiahs...Cheers Mate

  • @rainydayrex27 - Best I ever saw was the Dead Kennedy's in a bar in Denver. Most intense show I have ever witnessed...and I have seen a bunch.

  • Saw them in Atlanta at 688 mid-1980s. Best show ever, and I saw Hendrix!

  • How many bands are that alive live?

  • This Flat out Kicks A#@..

Hey JC I love ya man

  • These guys need to get back together and show these young bands a thing or 2!
