Kimono is japanese, hanbok is korean, hanfu is chinese. Influences come and go all the time and that doesn't make kimono not japanese, hanbok not korean nor hanfu not chinese.

Just look at Europe through history, their clothes are most of them the same or very similar and I don't see they claim this come from here and there.

Japanese kimono existed before the birth of hanfu. So kimono does not derives from Chinese hanfu directly, but strongly affected by hanfu .

Japanese has improved kimono with mixing the elements of hanfu for more than 1000years. It has become kimono.

★So, kimono is a refined and more beautiful version of a mixture of ancient kimono and hanfu.

Korean Hanbok derives from Chinese hanfu directly.

Koreans has worsened hanfu. It has become Hanbok.

You are wrong, modern Kimono (especially female version) also mixed many western (European) elements during the Meji period.

Therefore, Kimono is a mixture of Tang Hanfu, native Japanese elements, and modern Japanese elements.

But the basic design of Kimono is directly borrowed from Hanfu, such as the collar design(右衽）, the sleeves design （寬袖）, and the belt design （腰帶） are all exactly the same as Hanfu's.

I like the HanFu dresses the best, second would be Kimono and last would be Hanbok.

The HanFu dresses give off a mystical ancient feel to them. Kimonos look stiff, rigid and constricting. Hanboks look weird in my opinion because of the large and bulky skirt portion.

The Hanfu has too many variations to have a generalized comparison with. I personally think the Hanfus around the early dynasties(Zhou, Qin, Han) are the best.
