No words!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER!!!!!! SINDS 1974 MR. AL JARREAU KEEPS THE MUSIC GOING. WELL.... YOU NEED TO SEE THE SMALL DETAILS IN IN MUSIC AND THE VOICE. I LOVE HIM. I PLAYED IN MANY JAZZ CLUBS IN EUROPE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
My hat's off to Dr. Greggs and (Eric Baskin ,arranger ) of Southern University for introducing us to a broad range of music. I grew up in New Orleans and my parents owned a nightclub, so I thought my musical taste were varied . but what came out of SU's bandroom in the 70's, 80's, and 90's was amazing to say the least.
This 1983 jazz/R&B track by All Jarreau is one of my favorites by him, and this live performance of it displays why Al Jarreau is a legendary jazz crooner, magnificent!!
Magic !

I like JSU, SU, and FAMU arrangements, TxSU does the song no justice

Jackson State University's arrangement by Blake Gaines (Current Morehouse College Band Director and former Juke) was a very good arrangement as well.

i like FAMU's more than SU's version. SU's version is more high schoolish. but FAMU'S more grooving and it's in the same key.
jsutiger07 2 years ago
@jsutiger07 Its probably because u hear more high schools playing their arrangement.
