The things that dreams are made of eh? After watching The Bootleg Beatles a few years ago I had the idea of a Rutles cover band. But you guys beat me to it and are so much better than I could ever be. Keep up the good work. It's great to know that Rutlemania lives on!

Thanks for the kind words. We would love to come to England some day and perform but it's quite a long way from Austin, Texas. Perhaps some day we'll make it to Liverpool for Beatle week.

All of the member of Ouch! love the Rutles or we wouldn't be performing their songs! We are hoping to add some of the songs off of their "Archaeology" album at some point. Most likely Rendezvous and Questionnaire. I've only been to London once many years ago in 1995, and loved it. Cheers.

I have an idea for you guys: Why don't make a special Tribute to the Rutles and complete their work, what means: Take some other Beatles-songs and write parodies of them, in the style of Rutles? It would be a tribute to the Pre-Fab Four, Dirk, Ron, Stig and Barry too.

The Rutles live on! Back in 1978 the entire album was played on FM-CKLG (the forerunner of CFOX in Vancouver) about a week before the program was to air.

This generated a lot of excitement amongst my friends and I (aged 17 at the time), because we were fans of SNL, Monty Python and of course the Beatles.

The RUTLES were the in thing that during that summer for me. I am pleased and astonished that STILL today, they are held in such high regard as to spawn a tribute band. Well Done!

Superb! And long overdue. By the way, if our American friends have ever wondered what 'pre-fab four' means, 'pre-fab' is short for prefabricated. It refers to the cheap, factory-made houses that were put up in Britain in huge numbers to replace those destroyed by Goering's boys in World War 2. They were surprisingly durable - I believe a few survive today.
