Secret Places in Lynchburg: The Forgotten Street

I live in Lynchburg and those buildings are pretty interesting. All of Lynchburg is interesting, you just have to go and look around. I'm glad that I found these videos.

The street kept going because the old Williams Viaduct Bridge included a special downramp to Cabell Street, which is where you are standing. The new bridge didnt include a ramp to Cabell St, unfortunately.

I was there last week. I looked around and it's hard to tell where that went. I have an idea but will have to look at the satellite view to be sure. There is what looks to be part of a bridge across from the skate park. It's either part of a bridge or a ramp built on top of a older ramp/bridge platform. I got to get the picks off my camera and a video put together of my latest trip on the blackwater trail.
