That's why nobody can use the term "bear proof". If a Polar bear or Alaskan Brown (Kodiak) were to get ANY container..it would be toast. All manufacturers design & build to the common standards of Grizzly or Black bear attacks. Thank you for viewing & commenting.

In order to create an environment to test the container for bear resistance, we have to bait the container. There was several food sources inside the containers that the bears can smell and that makes them attack the units for the required period of time...60 minutes

That's amazing that he can't get into it. The old method wasn't working for him! Do you have any more test footage where the bear wrenches on the lid? What is the price of your can. Most of the ones in Montana are heavy steel and cost too much. Good luck with your business. There is a real demand for these things!

Thanks for the good wishes. Bears don't wrench on the lid because it never gapes enough to get a claw in...sorry. The price? $165.00

Cool, when business gets going in the summer, I will order one for my neighbors who bitch at me when my GS Dogs get into their open garbage cans they leave outside in bear territory! If you ask me, they are asking for a grizzly to show up. So far only black bears.
