This song reminds me of when my family and I moved to Australia from El Salvador in 1988. Heard it nearly everyday on the radio the following year and will always be symbolic of my arrival to this beautiful country. Amazing song.

This song reminds me of when my family and I moved to Australia from El Salvador in 1988. Heard it nearly everyday on the radio the following year and will always be symbolic of my arrival to this beautiful country. Amazing song.

@Sebella28 sadly you are wrong, the Finn brothers and Eddie Rayner are from NZ the rest are Aussie and from the USA, and the band was formed in Melbourne and their music contract is under Australian law, therefore they are an Australian band who have members from NZ and the USA! (i am an Aussie btw)

No one is trying to claim them as Aussies...but it shows the quality of talent in the Southern hemisphere...unlike Russell Crowe! Anyway it is one of the best songs of all time! Makes me want to leave everything and go back home to OZ!

The Finn brothers grew up in my home town, Te Awamutu, In New Zealand, and went to my school. They are Kiwis without a doubt, and no way are they Aussies at all.
