@boricuamovement you're not Nican Tlaca as you don't come from Anahuak..and if you claim to be as involved and knowledgable as you say you are in Nican Tlaca culture..you would be tolerant..the Great Spirit/Ometeotl/Tonanztin turn no one away who chooses to immerse themselves in their teachings..you callign her a bitch shows your thick hotheadedness and that's why people resist our ways fro ignorant morons such as yourself..your not even from Anahuack..you dont know our ways so shut your mouth
@boricuamovement You idiot you're as ignorant as the fucking white Europeans you learned to hate...you don't even use the name your people use to identify themselves with...calling me Aztec is doing what white spanish did..its Mexica pinche estupido pendejo..whose the bitch that doesn't know anything? you! identifyingyourself with false names its Diné puto! fucking dumb thick headed motherfucker fuck you you're as bad as the white putos that conquered us..no wonder people look at us with hate!
@boricuamovement I know that I'll never understand all of Native culture, and I am not trying to appropriate it. But I am trying to appreciate it. You're right, I might be over-educated, but I have taken a class about the history of southwest tribes in which I was one of only two white folk. I'm not trying to be at the head of the Red Power movement or anything, but I am supportive and try to educate others. And I play because it warms me to play.
@boricuamovement I'm sorry. I meant no disrespect but if I was disrespectful I can take the video down. If you mean the part where I talk about the symbolism of mustangs, I kind of cringe about that now--I put the video up two years ago and I was a lot flightier and stupid then. Would you like me to pull it, or cut it to just the song?
@singingcera please don't take this song away, even though you are not native american doesn't mean you can't make this small tribute to their culture. still the native americans (most of them anyways) teaches to respect and to love the earth and everything thats in it, so the guy who called you bitch is obvliously not native. so please dont take away this very nice work, and keep up with the good work
@boricuamovement of course I can speak about whatever I want, I don't care if you like it or not, all I'm saying its that many native indian tribes i know teaches some very wise things, to respect, love and to tolerate each other. maybe that's something you need to work on ; ), i mean just by watching one of your vdeos and looking at how do you answer to people I can tell you have so much hate to this world. andhow dare you talk that way to a girl (calling her bitch) if you dont even know her
@boricuamovement look first of all im not white, i have blood from the ancient natives from Oaxaca and from part of Guatemala, so if you know where are this two places you'll know what i mean. And it is true the natives are about to die because of the arrival of the white man a long time ago,i understand that, but one of the reasons the society from now is like this, is mainly because all of the hate going on between people. so in a way you are contributing to have the society we have right now.
@boricuamovement of course you owe them nothing, no one is arguing that. I am just saying the fact of hating just produces more hate than there was at first instance, and of course you wil find a million reasons to hate white people, but then again you have to know that to hate you need to have a brave heart, to forgive you dont need reasons but it takes even a braver heart. forgive and you will see an even greater feeling than just hate. i know this is hard just try it.
@boricuamovement And another thing pendejo..yes they did horrible things to us..that's unforgivable..but you act as if you have no means of keeping our people's ways alive...stop acting like a little drama queen, keep your damn culture alive instead of attacking someone for a fucking video they posted up!!
The native american flute players will consider anything set to a certin scale a western ideologic instrument, considering the native flute was made in the begining by this sound goes well with this sound and so on and so forth, it wasnt set all flutes have to be made this way, make this noise.
I love Jonah Tompson's flutes there amazing for the price. All i can say about the playing, very good just remember that the flute in an expression of your soul, sing into your flute, dont just blow.
and your fingers with flow over the holes. YOU MUST add a feather to your flute, but the feather must be givin by a friend, this feather will allow the pray to fly up to Great Spirit. Enjoy and Blessings
@singingcera keep playing young lady..don't get discouraged and by the way I love your flute..it's nice to know people outside of our culture appreciate our ways and peruse how to play our music as well..you are a beautiful woman with talent..don't forget that and keep at it =)

Aren't Navajo flutes considered "western" as well? I mean, they're even from the west OF the western hemisphere!
Nice playing, btw. Native American instruments are very entrancing.

Fruit Flaying is frowned upon in my household too. Those flutes sound so nice, I really enjoyed it.
Also, I like the sleeves.
Keep up the good work.
