This theory is new to me,but it makes perfect sense.Im just wondering about time frames.Do you need to view multiple time frames, and what time frames if Im looking for intraday profits?
@bripowered Viewing multiple timeframes definitely aids in deciding what stage of market development we are in. The length of time is up to your comfort level.
Yes although having volume does help. If you trade for example the EURUSD, you can look at the futures contract (6e) to make your trading decisions, as it has volume, then execute through forex.
Try it again here, stop you out, try it again here, stops you out. This method is emotionally extremely difficult to trade because you will be buying or selling the extremese so much till they go to your side and have a 5:1 RR. This risk-reward is useless when you have a 20% hitrate. Your trading account will nope grow :)
@mozyCLS Haha no, you have to be doing something wrong to have a less than 30% win rate even with this strategy. The main focus is, is that you do not have to win more the 50% of the time. Because of this, it takes a lot of emotion out of trading, as you know you dont have to be right all the time. It just makes common sense, you are trading where the general public isnt. My account has grown btw :)
@mozyCLS This was purely an example to show that you can make money theoretically even with a 25% win rate. However, you should be concerned if your win rate is below 30%...
Julian, good video, thanks. Can you tell me what software do you use to calculate those profiles?....is there any software that calculates developing MP besides marketdelta?
@julian062596 you ever hear of FINALG? GREAT vids man... do you have a family member involved in trading? How does someone your age get into this? Seems like you had a great mentor. thanks for sharing.
@timyen0828 Yes I have, I believe they are addons for ninja trader. I do not have any family member involved in trading. I got into this business purely by search on google : ) I was always interested in getting my parents out of the "rat race" so since I was 6 years old I searched for ways to make money. Trading popped up and I ran with it. My mentor was mostly myself by just trying things over again, with the help of Tom Alexander.
Dude.. That was unreal. Best presentation of practical AMT usage I've seen in a while. People charge big bucks for the same information and you presented it better! Great examples and excellent discussion of the win rate vs r/r principle that most people just don't get. Well done!!
@billykal22 Hi Billy, You may be interested then in my market update service. It is a daily video sent to each subscriber with trade ideas and levels to watch over 12 different futures markets. It is only $45 a month, my website will be up tomorrow to subscribe!
