My pastor was explaining this to us, that in the old testament it talks about the Word made flesh, talking about Jesus. Meaning that Jesus was there at creation, and he presented this idea of the angels who serve the Lord, that they have known him before he had a form, he was just the Word, the third form of the Godhead and how incredible it would be to watch that infinite being and God be born as a screaming child in a manger. I cant even imagine what they must have seen.
