Enya?!!! I have instantaneously been transformed into the biggset effing snob in the world. Enya?! I mean, she's alright...but seriously. Enya? Love the video - Andy Warhol and Mr. Eno would, I think, approve.
The vehicle in centre has its engine idling near the duration of vid only to cut the van off when pulling out. Typical of us. This song and vid make me incredibly sad, a yearning for the lost past, a fear of my hidden fears. Nice job.
It's an odd piece and caught my attention because of all of the long notes, I first heard it on the Music Channel on my television, Ihad to find it again, thank goodness for YouTube.
when i first heard this music, it rushes through my inner most soul, that triggers my youth from then on i never forget this tune and 2 decades, i was trackking this tunes for so many years, now i found it again, it give life, hope, wishes that inspire to life that is. . . eno & vangelis no say to you all
I just presented this in class as an investigative piece, everybody loved it. Excellent job from Audio/Video Strategies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Amazing - I would be interested to know what Dawkins brought to the discussion and also whether or not it was recorded ... i.e. is there any chance of it being put on YouTube any time soon?!
Have you seen the the talk between Eno and Will Wright (the creator of Sim City, The Sims, Spore, etc.)? The topic discussed was procedural generation and it is also an excellent talk.
Have you given any thought to making vids for the full versions of the other songs? I love both the song and the video here, and would like to see more recognition for the other tracks on this album. Again, great job.
This was (and is) one of my favorite albums ever made. Eno's intellect is outstanding. If you haven't, listen to him discribe why he made this type of music. A classic contemporary composer.
Spectacularly good music. I listen to this when I draw.

I just went to an excellent talk with Richard Dawkins and Brian Eno - two of my intellectual heroes - in Oxford.
This track was played by Eno whilst discussing his recording methods.
