I am a vocalist and will finally be graduating after 4 years in December with a BA in Music-vocal performance. I like how you reference in your coachings the many styles of music. He Eric, I noticed you have a great chest voice. Keep it real and use it more man. Not that I don't like your head voice (good control and it sounds sensual), but this song (in my opinion) is to much in your head voice . Man I never listen to RnB to be quite honest I don't really enjoy it until I find a rare singer as yourself singing a beautiful song, I would of expected such quality to be signed up by now by a big ass record deal. I believe it's just a matter of time until you're truly discovered

Singing didn't come naturally to me at all. It took years of hard work. Now I'm at a place where I feel confident and in control of my voice. I truly believe that, if I could do it, anyone can do it. @EricArceneaux I read your story you wrote on your blog about how you learned how to sing. It really inspired me because lately my voice has been feeling tight and hurting. A few years back my doctor told me I have Gastroesophageal reflux disease. This was hard for me because like you, singing is my life. My voice quality ain't what it used to. It definitely gets tighter faster and strained very easily but your story made me realize if you could do it, then I could. So I'm not gonna give up.
because the last teacher i had always talked badly of me behind my back,i over heard her several times. and than put me down a lot. but i got a new teacher who is so much better to me and is still honest(: i think the most important thing to be a singer is to have confidence and i get more and more everytime i watch your videos. thankyou.

i have a friend who got constant criticism from pretty much everybody. musicians can be pretty cruel to each other too! she couldn't afford a vocal coach at the time, but she checked out every book she could find on anatomy, vocal exercises, etc. now people love her voice (and she gives voice lessons!) never give up & don't let others define who u are.

Man I never listen to RnB to be quite honest I don't really enjoy it until I find a rare singer as yourself singing a beautiful song, I would of expected such quality to be signed up by now by a big ass record deal. I believe it's just a matter of time until you're truly discovered

Wow...listening to your voice makes me dream...of one day singing like you...it was a blessing to find your voice classes in youtube..I was kick-out of the praise team because of jealosy from the pastors daughter..But even tough Im no longer in her class Im trying to keep looking for ways to improve my voice... because I want to give the best to God... hey there eric! i have discovered you like 10 mins ago..i watched your "3 points of improvement video" I must say, The video was very helpful, I love to sing..but in solo surroundings so i don't get judged on my singing lol i feel so free when i do sing but i need help!!!

Your so good at singing! ive always wished to sing good, and im stil learning, ur youtube videos were very helpful! thank you soo much! now when i cant reach a note or something i practice my lessons u taught and my voice can reach the note, but im still struggling with the holding jaw and tonge out, do i just need more practice??

Hey bruh, look I can't sing at all but I have a DEEP DESIRE to learn. Is it possible for someone who has no skills at all to learn to sing well? YOu really have a natural God given talent. I really enjoyed this song!

@kbjew15 Thanks a lot! And it is VERY possible for ANYONE to improve. You said that I have a natural God given talent, and I appreciate the compliment. But nothing could be further from the truth. Singing didn't come naturally to me at all. It took years of hard work. Now I'm at a place where I feel confident and in control of my voice. I truly believe that, if I could do it, anyone can do it. @EricArceneaux I read your story you wrote on your blog about how you learned how to sing. It really inspired me because lately my voice has been feeling tight and hurting. A few years back my doctor told me I have Gastroesophageal reflux disease. This was hard for me because like you, singing is my life. My voice quality ain't what it used to. It definitely gets tighter faster and strained very easily but your story made me realize if you could do it, then I could. So I'm not gonna give up.

eric you inspire me to be better and not quit.
because the last teacher i had always talked badly of me behind my back,i over heard her several times. and than put me down a lot. but i got a new teacher who is so much better to me and is still honest(: i think the most important thing to be a singer is to have confidence and i get more and more everytime i watch your videos. thankyou.
singing isnt natural to me, but i feel so much better knowning you were once in my shoes

@EricArceneaux & kbjew15 wow, great song. very heartfelt & i can feel the emotion coming through in both the vocals and the piano.
i have a friend who got constant criticism from pretty much everybody. musicians can be pretty cruel to each other too! she couldn't afford a vocal coach at the time, but she checked out every book she could find on anatomy, vocal exercises, etc. now people love her voice (and she gives voice lessons!) never give up & don't let others define who u are.
