It depends on the angle you make the PK Thunder hit Ness/Lucas at. If you do it too much from the side then yeah, you'll bounce off.

Don't ask. When I uploaded it, it looked normal, but now....Yeah. I have no idea on how to fix it.

Good to know. You need to practice your Zap Jump! I change the Y button to Special, so I just press both X and Y at once.

Not really a Lucas-specific thing. Captain Falcon does it too. Pretty much everyone with a recovery that doesn't "hit" the ledge.
