I liked the ending in this game,was just a short bit of dialogue but it was closure as he had come to terms with his wife's death,so maybe he could have a little happiness in his life now.but i guess Max Payne 3 means otherwise.

@TheMrSpartanking Remedy were the main developers. Rockstar helped with the game since Remedy is a really small team. The idea came from Remedy and it was basically there baby. They then gave the rights to Rockstar some time in the mid 2000s. In their latest game Alan Wake they used the same actor they used for MP and in a way killed him off in the Alan Wake's book. Sort of a goodbye to the character they nurtured. Hope that helps :D

@DjHamHam411 The sad thing is that when Max Payne 3 comes out, it wont have the same feeling to the gameplay nor the story... this makes me a sad panda. They cannot make the game as awesome as Remedy did since they were the ones to create the damn series.

Love review. And have you noticed Remedy's love for Twin Peaks? With Adress Unknown tv show on Max Payne 1 & 2 and Alan Wake. Maybe that's another reason why I love them so much! :)

You should see Mona in the first game. I was thankful Remedy changed her.

@MrSnuggleduck i know what mona looked like, she looked like a 16 year old girl. but now she looks like she had bad plastic surgery. i just prefer sami lake as max payne is all. hard for me to look at the new one and think of him as max payne.

Since the budget was low for the first game, all the character models were based off of the staff. The man that was used for payne in the first game declined being used in the 2nd, so they got someone else. :)

@PappeH I know that. Anyone who likes Max Payne enough to Google it should know that. The person who's faced they used was Sam Lake, he wrote the story of the both the first and the second game. So he was heavily involved with the production of the second game aswell, which only adds insult to injury considering he could just as easily been Max in this game too. Luckily there are mods that use his face like Max Rambo, and Lupino Showdown. So I can just play those instead.

I think in Max Payne 3 they should allow you to dive through doors or other breakable objects. Excellent review, I love this game.

Maybe it's 4 h long if you've played it a million times and just rush through it.

@LufsyLurqy if you look at everything in the game,let the gangsters talk or try to headshot everything you can spend quite a lot of time,you can find a drunk guy watching tv that complains if you break it,then set him on fire,get an old lady to invite you in her apartment and kill her

A more cool thing is to get it free from the internet as they are both single player games. For your info: I have bought both Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 for they are great games, but I am just saying XD
