I wasn't very old when that happened so I can't really comment on us almost going bankrupt but our city isn't as big as yours but we have a really great loyal fan base and theres always a ton of people at the games unlike the Islanders and Thrashers and all those other crap teams. A LOT of other fans of different teams like Jeanerette as well as we do. When it comes to hating on him I hear a lot of it come from the Rangers fans. He's a really exciting announcer to listen to.

But, the Rangers are the second most valuable team in the NHL, only the Leafs are higher. The Sabres are 21st, theres no way you can say that you're making the same, as far as revenue, with the Rangers. No doubt Buffalo's doing very well for a small market, but when it comes to equalling the Rangers they have some catching up to do.

Not just for the fans but for the players. Biggest reason I like Myers is because he's Zdeno Chara...but he can actually skate and handle the puck. I just hope the reports over the summer were right and he really did add some weight, after that with how well he skates for a man of his height, he'll be scary as an offensive defenseman.
