It's a kit, so he didn't do anything by himself other than installing the kit.

Well I guess I don't check comments enough cause of how long ago this person posted but I will tell you all that this is not the case. The X3 control panel is made for the Xecuter mod chip and isn't originally compatible with the Xenium Ice modchip.
