  • !!LONG LIVE QUEEN!! FFOORREEVVEERR!!!!!!

  • "You break the law and you BREACH."

  • This is dedicated to one of the Shepherd brothers.Freddie's words show what he thought of his management skills.

  • was my first queen album when I was 12 years old

    back in 1992

That song just blew me away

i'd never heard such music before

it was different from all the rest

    queenfan forever

  • I love Roger's scream @0:39 when the song starts :)

  • coolest intro lead EVER....what a band....wow

  • "Now you can kiss my ass goodbye!" Poor choice of words, Freddie. -_-

  • Brian May, probably the most underrated guitarist. Not to mention the unbelievable vocal range of Freddie Mercury. One of my favorite Queen songs.

  • I love the piano at the beggining

  • Freddie Bulsara Mercury ! The greatest! Happy Birthday!!!

  • Freddie Bulsara....The great singer!! Happy Birthday!!!

  • What a fantastic guitarlick. However, it was created by Freddie on his piano, but seemed to work very well for May's guitar too.

Freddie is still rockin' in heaven, sure of that! So happy birthday Freddie!

  • great great great guitar! yaaa!!!!

  • perfect tune to describe my missus!!

  • I adore your music.

  • I will buy CD's of Queen for my grand children of 14 and 8..Budding musicaians, they must hear this.

  • I photographed Queen in 1976 over 2 nights. To see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • Freddy <3 <3

  • Who is dedicated ??

  • @01petra1981 Pretty sure it's their old manager.

  • @01petra1981 Norman Sheffield.

  • @01petra1981 there former managers

  • Gotta Love that "Helicopter sound"

  • I played this song in my radio program last monday.

  • @Nessiefan :Good stuff mate!Remember this was released in the beginning of the Punk Explosion,Rock suffered badly, but kept going.......

  • Obviously the old manager and producer found the dislike button . .

  • great song

  • this song is very good, love the sound <3....but it's also worth being dedicated to someone who....disappointed us =)

  • This group was truly inspired. It is too bad that modern music is never as great as this. We will all mourn the loss of Freddy Mercury forever.

  • All Queen's songs are amazing and Freddie is/was a brilliant writer and composer. Truly Amazing

  • @CPrincessC i do agree but the truth of the matter is that freddie was the prototypical frontman and it was the rest of tlhe band that made the complete package. if i may say it Brian May is the most underrated guitarist, composer and singer in the history of Rock!!

  • @ttdwarren I agree with you, Brian May never got the recognition he deserves. A lovely player and a real distinctive sound.

  • @ispinimor So true. When you listen to "Good Company" and know that the whole Jazz Band in the background was Brian on the guitar, it is just astounding. He has an amazing talent and I am honored that I had the privilege to have worked with him 2 time even in a minor capacity. Then, you know that he continued his education to get his PHD in astro-physics, my respect for him goes even higher.

  • BRIANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! You're guitaring sends shiver down my spine. As im sure youre reading this! Ahahah:)

Queen is the best fucking band ever.

  • @imsazcake

It was written by Freddie!:DI'm sure I read his biography!

  • @BombCherry46 I know, but I'm saying I love Brian's guitar solos. I didn't say anything about Freddie not writing the song.:-)

  • @imsazcake

    In that case ,sorry! ;,)

  • @imsazcake !!!!EXACTLY!!!!

  • Great recording!

One of Queen's best songs ever.

  • this was made about queens first manager. he had taken money from the band. and basically are expressing what they think of him in 'Death on Two Legs'

  • actually norman sheffield is writing a book about his experiences with Queen, including the failed lawsuit because he thought the song was about him. JR though wanted a more personal relationship with FM. Hence the song. Commas, people, commas!

    coraclewoman

  • "I can dim the lights and sing you songs full of sad things"

Miss you terribly you old 'LOVERBOY'

  • the song is about John Reid - once Elton John's manager. He tried to rip Queen off and the resulting litigation nearly put paid to the band. Hence the song - which is brilliant anyway!

    coraclewoman

  • You had the manager bit right but wrong one. Norman Sheffield was Queen's manager before Reid and the subject of this song. Research people research

  • kudos

  • i don't care what people think of freddy. the baddest rock bands on the planet only dream of putting such an explosive package together for a record.

  • Hehe. My sister HAS to listen to this EVERY MORNING! Tip: DON'T TURN VOLUME ON HIGH UNLESS U WANT YOUR EARS FRIED OFF!

  • great intro!!

    one of their best!!!

  • but now you can kiss my ass goodbye!

  • Farrokh Bulsara! A great singer.

  • THE greatest

  • @plasticPlaystation yes it is funny hearing his birth name isn't it - lol

but a rose by any other name...

  • Obviously you don't like Freddie and if so, you just can't like Queen, so why won't you just stay away from Queen videos?

Also, Freddie wrote, arranged and sung this song so I think he had very much to do with it.

  • im sorry i love freddie

  • Haha...my fave band...I thought only Freddie was gay! Check out 2:48!!

Brilliant song - absolutely love the incredible neck/middle out of phase screaming tone. That opening widdlee bit is fantastic!

  • Bi, not gay, but nice catch on the photo, haha

  • hahaahah I love that(: omg John has a deep deep deep secret(: lol love you Queen and John

  • DEATH ON 2 LEGS

  • #YOU SUCK MY BLOOD LIKE A LEECH#

  • In a book about Freddie I read that originally that verse was:

    YOU SUCK MY C*CK LIKE A B**CH

    XD XD XD XD

  • I thought something like that back in 1987 when with narrow minded cronies would become #You were involved in the football fan violence in the world cup#. Another verse is #the sewer rat decaying in a shit tank#. Quite interesting, mind.

  • u know freddie actually made the original chorus riff on piano and then brian made it the guitar riff

  • Yep, you are very correct.

  • It makes good fun to make slight alterations with some of the lyrics e.g. "With narrow minded cronies" would become "You were involved in the football fan violence in the world cup" and a sewer rat decaying in a "cesspool of pride" would become the "shit tank".

  • This song is angrier and heavier than any excuse for a "metal" song these days, lyrically and musically.

  • AWESOME, Queen RULEZ!!!! umm.....is it just me or the lyrics,.....do they refer to the NWO conspiracy or am i just associating the lyrics with politicians and banksters?!!=P

  • um this song was known as Freddie Mercury hate letter to Queens ex manager and then they got sued cause his name was in the title ("dedicated to...") so then they changed it to dedicated to "a real motherfucker of a gentleman." you can search it up on wikipedia it'll say about exactly that.

  • thanx for the info and i will look it up in wikipedia,.....Queen's among the best in ROCK!

  • No, he directed the song at the management of Queen's recording company at the time. Obviously, he was a bit pissed lol.

  • lovely!!!

  • This is very hardhardhardhardhard rock!! Night at the opera is one queens best album!!

  • I became interested in Queen right around when Freddie dies. My first CD, was ANATO, and so I put it playing...OMFG!! The very first song was such a hard-rocking anthem, I loved it!

  • right o! captured some raw anger on this track they did? any one remember producers name? was most expensive album at time of recording

  • I love the sentence at 2:07!

Lovely song!! And I really adore the piano intro!!!

  • THere is no music like this anymore...Queen kicks ass!!! RIP Freddie!!

  • danm right!!!!!!!

  • This is the ultimate hate song in rock n roll history. I love it though!!!

  • as i read somewhere: the greatest "fuck you" song of all time!

  • orgasmic

  • totally

  • I thought it was for an ex boyfriend.

Turns out it's more for a a manager, a music company boss or something like that.

  • he hadnt had any bf's at this point... and this song was written concerning two brothers that managed them and bought rolls royces off profit n refused to give the band their share

  • He had a girlfriend at the time, Mary Austin, who remained as his best friend until his death...

This is against Norman Sheffield who just had them as his slaves... they didn't get much money and worked on studio in the others' intervals... then came a case in court (which Queen lost) and they signed a contract with other guys... then came Boh Rhap, recorded in 6 studios...

It's all in the documentaries... ANATO dvd and Freddie's Millions have it all...

  • freddie put alott of anger into this song,

it came out really good :)

  • no shit Shurlock of coarse it came out really good ITS QUEEN

    no disrespect :)

  • it is FUCKIN ilegal to not like this song

  • and the punishment if u don't like this song is u have to watch 28 hours of infomercials, for hair spray (the hair stuff not the movie or play)

  • christgodd,,,that guitar ...they are my favorite o ye gods

  • i mean Bravo

  • Possibly one of the best guitar riffs of all time. Brave, Brian!

  • Actually, Freddie wrote this riff on piano, then Brian played it on guitar. But still, excellent riff !!!

  • is it me or does 1:52-59 sound like a part in the song that scar plans to kill mufasa in lion king?

  • just you lol

  • like the lyrics very much(H)

  • I personally never expected hit to say that :D

  • thisis so fucking nice ...buy the way freddie is very angry i like it:D

  • no that last guy is not our Freddie!!!!

  • You've taken all my money

    And you want more!

    Great!!!

    Genious!

  • The guy in the last picture is not Freddie!!!

  • grande brian...

  • I always loved the "Helicopter "@ 1.48.....

  • I lovveeeee this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 3:40 that not Freddie!

  • great piano! i love them... they will never be forgotten

  • @FungiBuns (Y)

  • When you say "gotta love May's guitar" in this, you mean got to love Freddy Mercury's piano which was adapted to the guitar. I do agree though...the 'solo' at 1:00 is my favorite guitar solo ever.

  • 0.44 to 1.10 <3

  • yeeeees but also the rest is great!

  • luv the intro :]

  • first time i've heard this song, and there is only one word to sum it up, AWESOME!!! :)

  • love it.like b. already said.cant get enough.

  • i'm only 14 but

    queen rocks really.

  • Queen is adorable, can't get enough :)

  • love it

  • Definitely on of their best.

  • This song is about the record company when the record company wouldnt let them do what they want

  • its dedicated to them anyway...

  • Rocky Horror(that´s gonna be the name for the next Rocky movie!). What you said it´s not totally correct. It wasn´t really "dedicated" to Trident Studios. It was "dedicated" to one of the studio executives, Norman Sheffield(the other was his brother Barry). Wish You Peace! :)

  • This is true, the song is about record execs (bloodsuckers)

  • and it's not only about that they couldn't do what they want, it was also about that they didn't get paid for all the work, they did get paid but not as much as they should.

  • no, it's dedicated to their manager at the time (they just left him) he screwed them for years, conning them out of thousands

  • The song is dedicated to Jack Nelson, one of Queen's first managers when they had a deal with Trident. Nelson according to Freddie, stole a lot money from Queen, and then fleed to the United States leaving the band with a lot of debts. On the Live Killers video you can hear Freddie saying; -"This song is dedicated to a motherf@cker of a gentleman".

  • No, Jack Nelson was their *new* manager. It was dedicated to their *previous* manager, Norman Sheffield.

  • yeh, i think it's rlly funny he said that

  • I have Live Killers and I know what your talking about. "This is about a 'beeb beeb beeb'. We call him Death on Two Legs!" I always wondered what they were bleeping out.

  • This song is "dedicated" to Norman Sheffield, an early Queen manager who locked them into a slave like contract where they saw almost nothing in terms of royalties and artistic freedom. Freddie says that he was a "real motherf*u**er" of a gentleman

  • i would've liked to see freddie get in a fight. it would've been sweet watching him beat up somebody. i wouldn't say he was real buff, but as a kid he took boxing lessons. i would soooo want to see him get rough

  • i read that this was freddie's hate letter to their previous manager, (er sumthin like that) Norman Sheffield. he was said to have abused his authority and mistreat them. in live versions he says, "this song is dedicated to a real mother!@#$er of a gentleman." but it was bleeped out on the album Live Killers. kinda funny he wrote a hate song bout him

  • does anyone know where i can find out how to play this(all instruments)

  • sometimes it hurts, that freddie is dead...

  • I know what you mean.

  • Great song, fantastic lyrics

  • Never had a heart!!!!!!!

  • Love this song

  • <3 u 4 eva freddie rock in peace

  • I think anybody could sing this song to someone they have a grudge against

  • freddie did his manager!! before they went and did everything for themselves!! lmao

  • This song is awesome! ´love the anger in it.

  • i always loved this song!

  • id love to punch the bastared who gave freddy aids

  • ACK, Freddie, not Freddy! >:O

  • good memories

  • This song was written by Freddy in response to how their record company was treating them back then.
