The irony of seeing Che on the wall in an obama campaign office is that Obama has nothing on Che. Obama supports the status quo, the war, the current economic slavery. Che was a rich piece of shit who never worked a day in his life and enjoyed all the luxuries of upper middle class people in Bolivia and the acquired assets of seized properties in the cuban revolution. Communism has so far worked in zero countries out of about twenty that have tried it. I'll defend capitalist inequality because it's the only system that guarantees any quality of life backed by greed to improve ones own quality of life.
Che had a privileged background but he fought for people. Instead of being a country club doc he actually put a hell of a lot on the line in order to shift the balance of power (like, his life).
If you think that you become a doctor or a military leader by "not working a day in [your] life" then I'd like to know what medical school you're talking about. An M.D. hanging on my wall would be nice, I don't have time to do the work for it though.
He got where is was by being living in the top 5% of wealthy people in Bolivia and by being a ruthless murdering son of a bitch in Cuba. Yes, Che Guevara was a communist. And yes, he killed some people. So what? Guevara saw the terrible conditions forced on native and mestizo classes in S. America and decided to do something about it. He saw communism as a solution to their problems. You don't have to agree with his political views but do a little research before you condemn him. We just have (and need) to share money/wealth and work and everybody has nothing too much and nothing too less. There would be no poverty and no unemployability but also not too much work and enough free time to live.
Over 35 Millions in the USA are extremely poor (and it's getting worse) and more and more people have to do two or three jobs a day just to survive.

I meant "also" not "even"- France is (or was) more social than germany but absolutely not enough (and it's getting worse yet).
And I have to add a question: Is it possible that a rich loses more money than he gets if he doesn't act absolutely stupid or risky? No (generally), and thats why the difference between the few rich and the rest grows until the collaps. ;-)

Yes - we live in a democracy that allows us to voice our opinion and Obama now has to live with the opinion of others because his volunteer idealizes a communist country and a known assassin. What if the volunteer had a Nazi flag? Would that be ok? How do you expect people not to react to a political statement like the Communist Cuban flag during a political process. The real issue is that Obama has NOT denounced this display. He should distance himself from what that flag represents.

You obviously do not know your history and are unable to differentiate one country's foreign policy from another. Last I checked - the U.S was still a democracy with a constitution, bill of rights and most importantly Human and Civil Rights. Cuba is run by a Dictator and the people there have no civil rights. Unlike some conservo morons who throw away their rights for "protection" at the hands of the state that supported the muhajideen and installed the Shah I'd rather take my chances with the existing systems which would not have failed had someone not spent all their time at a ranch instead of attending briefings.

The significance of this clip is that the flag is up on the wall of a Presidential Candidate's Election Headquarters. Having that flag up is an insult to the U.S. Che Guevara was an assassin and was responsible for the revolution that led to the Commununist Cuba that exists today - a country ruled by a dictator, has no Democracy and violates human rights. I can't believe you wrote this. Read the truth about CHE. Don't assume the romanticized movie about him is all true. He did some good but, he was still a socialist and even Castro and the Kremlin(USSR) didn't want him in Cuba. Thus, he was encouraged to take the "revolution" to South America where he promptly got shot. He murdered hundreds of innocents as stated by many of his fellow soldiers. He was no Washington(who had his own faults) & he damn sure was the Exact Opposite of Mandela!

The irony of seeing Che on the wall in an obama campaign office is that Obama has nothing on Che. Obama supports the status quo, the war, the current economic slavery. Che had a privileged background but he fought for people. Instead of being a country club doc he actually put a hell of a lot on the line in order to shift the balance of power (like, his life).
