NASCAR may seem like it's pointless to most people out there compaired to most sports, but there is different kind of conditioning involved in the sport! Mind you those cars are 3400 lbs with 800+ hp now. Most bench racers can't handle their civics! The temps inside the cars can reach somewhere 'round 200+ degrees on the hot days. On top of that the drivers at most tracks are experiencing up to 2 or so G-forces on and off for 3-4 hours during the race. Not many people can handle that...sorry :P

Mayfield never showed signs of being on ice. I think he was a victim of an imperfect drug testing policy. The fact is(and Newman himself alluded to this point) NASCAR never told the drivers what they can and cannot use. While narcotics are a no brainer, they never published a list of illegal chemicals. What if Benadryl is on the list. The driver is black-balled as a drug addict in racing circles, even beyond NASCAR'S long reach. Beyond that, this is an exellent song and video.

@nathanwoly hey man just thought id let you know what its about since you asked. the driver in the video jeremy mayfield was successful and winning races and then lost his ride and had to create his own team with a low budget and struggled big time and its about never giving up basically. hope this helps!
