  • how the hell do you ride that?

  • the engine on the batpod was inside the wheel this wheel machine was designed by a japanese guy (or someone) that made this idea

  • if i saw this as a kid i would be dangerously excited.

  • so much for a fake bike, its not a bike if it dont run a ride!

  • Very cool.

  • Somebody should make a replica of the Batpod with a turbine engine :D

  • Damn that engine sounded great.

  • Engine, please...?

  • steven segal pushes the batpod now?

  • @thegenrl I thought the same thing dude LOL

  • i went to quebec and got to see the ghost rider bike

  • Anne Hathaway as catwomen, saw a sneak pic her on this bike, man could they have found nyone worse to play this role.

  • if any guy was riding that no matter how ugly or old he is he would get like ever girl!

  • the turning radius on that thing is Pennsylvania

  • Oh my gosh, they're real vehicles... that's crazy. Dear santa, I would like some good health for my family, a toothbrush, the Tumbler Batmobile from the Nolan films...

  • and i wanted a dirt bike......

  • the back of the car scared the shit out of me

  • can it grive

  • thats how you fight terrorism

  • nice but can it run?? that is the question

  • heaith ledger:(

  • U can not touch any of the vehicles wat is this place area 51

  • The engines are in the wheel hubs believe it or not

  • If somebody saw you driving on a batpod, with guns on the front....you'd be a serious hard ass.

  • there is a hole behind ...

  • Is that Chavez taking out the bike ?lol he looks exactly..

  • @MRSRJD Just because they're not driving them doesn't mean they don't work...

They filmed all the scenes without CGI and both the tumbler and the batpod were able to do all the stunts shown.

  • nice big weel :P

  • At like 4:38 did she ask him if he wanted ti take a pic of here and her husband and he said "no no!" ? Or am I just tripping out?

  • its the best freakin custom made bike i've ever seen...!!!!!

  • is the batpod made by apple...??

  • Is that Steven Segal, bat pod instructor!?!!!!

  • did he say a mile a gallon ???

  • I'd like to take that thing around the block a couple times.

  • This Batman bike killed Bin Laden !

  • 1:37 did he say 1 mile per gallon? holy F and i thought my hummer waz bad!

  • @TheChampiYon It is 2 miles to the gallon. Anyone wants this vehicle they will not be able to afford food or a place to live due to gas prices. They would be laughing stock of the unemployment line when they collect their unemployment check due to our current economy.

  • ride it, pussy

  • seriously just go ride the dam thing out of the trailer

  • Could it really be riden???

  • teen dreams ^^

  • TRANSFORMERS,ROBOTS IN DISGUISE! (oh shit wrong movie)

  • Am I the only one who thinks the dark knight character is a VERY cheap ripoff of Brandon Lee's "The Crow". Even the logo is the crow 's logo...

  • @2000jago You mean the look of the Joker character in The Dark Knight? I wouldn't say they blatantly ripped off The Crow. Aside from the scarring on The Joker's mouth and cheeks looking somewhat similar to what was painted on Eric Draven's lips, the black eye-paint, and the longer scraggy hair, that's pretty much where it ends. Two different characters entirely. Plagiarism isn't the style of a director of Nolan's caliber. Any similarities are purely coincidental, I would say.

  • @TheDarkKnut Coincidental or not, as an avid fan of The Crow, whenever an image of the Joker (the Dark Night incarnation) appears I am powerless to do anything except focus on the similarities in appearnace. How anyone could sign off on a makeup-design for The Joker without acknowledging the STRIKING similarity to The Crow's iconic appearance is a mystery to me.

There is TOO MUCH visual similarity and it ruins my ability to suspend disbelief during the film.

  • @2000jago I totally understand what you're saying, I just don't agree. I see the similarities vaguely, but when I look at The Joker in The Dark Knight it just doesn't scream "The Crow" to me. It's a shame that Ledger's indescribably compelling take on The Joker is ruined for you by something that, for me, is very easy to look past.

  • @2000jago I'm not a fan of the whole "Joker wears make-up" thing, or the scars on his face; I'd prefer a more literal translation of the character's visuals from the comic books. But those tiny gripes are all petty when you watch the sheer awesomeness of this cinematic interpretation of Batman's greatest enemy. I couldn't imagine myself sitting there watching the film thinking "This is $#!+. The Joker doesn't wear f-ing make-up! I'm outta here!" And miss a great flick because of it...

  • @TheDarkKnut And yet, that's pretty much exactly what happened to me... :( I watched to to the end, but I'm afraid the "great cinematic interpretation" wasn't enough to get me past my "The Crow" gripe.

  • @2000jago I feel for you, bud....

  • @2000jago : So you haven't heard of inspiration? Make-up artists uses different; existing styles...

  • @TheDarkKnut Me either, but Nolan aspired to produce a Batman that was more grounded in hard reality. Ledger had more rigid parameters to with with given these ground rules, but he deserved his Oscar nonetheless. For everyone that will say that Ledger's Joker performance was memorable only because it was his last role, I recommend seeing his performances in Monster's Ball, Brokeback Mountain and even Patriot because he definately has the track record to back it up,

  • @2000jago "avid fan of The Crow". Stop right there son, go do PT.

  • @2000jago do you also see KISS lol

  • @2000jago you absolutely right i thought the same thing because if you seen the movie Crow the Joker looks identical.

  • @2000jago bro.... its batman... he came out in the 1950's and im pretty sure the crow appeared in the 90's.....

  • @hell13fire

    1939

  • @2000jago To me "The Crow" looks more like "Sting", the wrestler from WWE than "The Joker". There's some similarities with the heath ledger version but not to the point where it would look like a ripoff.

  • @2000jago yeah i think u r..

  • @2000jago yeh when the crow's first comic was released in 1989 and The Joker had his first appearance in 1940...but if your referring to The Dark Knight himself, well his first four part comics where released in 1986, a full 3 years before the crow...your side isnt doing very well.

  • @2000jago Maybe that's where the Joker got his inspiration for his own look.

  • @2000jago Wrong...read the comic The Dark Knight returns by Frank Miller from 1986 and you will recognise the dark and grim atmosphere. When the first Batman movie came out a lot of folks hoped it would have the same atmosphere as Frank Millers comic...unfortunately we had to wait for almost 20 years to make that happen.

  • OMG PPL! its for the looks and mabe functionality (practice ride lol alot) quit moanin about milage and waste of money,,,,bet u couldnt make it...FFS

  • It's times like these when there should be people willing to do GTA missions in real life.

"Steal the Bat-Pod and clear your wanted level."

  • haha kid at 3:40

  • Did he say the motorcycle does 1 mpg?

  • now let see someone on it

  • that shit could beat any super car

  • dear santa...

  • I just craped my pants, I saw the other video of them actually DRIVING the tumbler to where it was parked in this video, and OMG. Anybody know where I can get one? >:D WORLD DOMINATION! >:)

  • steven segal works for batman now?

  • if i saw the two machnes in real life i would most likely jizz in my pants

  • 4:08 WALDO !!!!!!!!

  • gawdd... WHERES BATMAN WHEN U NEED HIM

  • and actually it does workk(: kayy thanks

  • hah , my mom got to sit on that bike. their dad is my moms bestfriend (: plusss we get to see their new tron lightcycle mondayyy(:

  • its actualy amazing how the batpod works, for starters, the batpod at fird was hard to haldle, reason being the steering, so the driver had to use his sholders, she second, it has 2 moters in the sheels, and the gas tank is hidden under the bidy

  • so the question is:

    Batpod?

    Light Cycle?

    Dodge Tomahawk?

  • very cool I was wondering how the bat pod could steer because it looked like it had two support bars leading to the front wheel in most veiws

  • is this in the us or the canadian side

  • Fanny pack HO !!!!!

  • WOW JULY 13th thats my birthday haha

  • how many BatPods are there in existence?

  • good imagination!....do the .75 cal paintball cannons work?..lol

  • I want both the Tumbler & the Batpod, so muuuuch! but mostly the Tumbler

  • @AIRTUBEY BadPod is a part of the Tumbler ^^

  • I hope fanny packs arn't making a comeback!

  • if they didn't want to be mobbed so much then why unload them in a fucking public car park. thats americans i guess.

  • how would batman have continued his chase if he had his front wheels pierced? BCAA road side repair?

  • Maybe inspired by and old Nintendo 64 game called "Extreme G"?

  • That's sexy lol...

  • the guy rolling the bike around is a tool

  • Sexy

  • fucking super swampers on the back

  • the badpot looks like a quad that tried to be a Lamborghini Reventon

  • There's no fgk engine!!!!

  • I would pay 100,000 dollars for that bike if i had the money haha

  • I wonder if that batpod is even functional.

  • sexy

  • what a shitty after-thought of a kickstand

  • That is sick

  • @DifficultyisEasy half of the movie chase scenes in batman Begins were actually taken at nearly 100 MPH. They really built the Tumbler to do more than look pretty unlike the Batmobile from the Michael Keaton movies.

  • when you drive by this through the city, kids cry ;) 3:38

  • it does you can star it up and drive it

  • the bike is kinda cool... but the car, truck thing is terrible :P

  • sweet:X

  • lol @ fannypack...to hide whatsunderneath

  • Incredible engineering. Brillant!!!

  • Its fake cause it wasn't made yet before and there isn't even any chain you can see....

  • lol turrets should work! >:D

  • even after they say, DO NOT TOUCH THEM! the girl goes and sits on it..

  • They don't even start them. WTF?

  • tha back tires on tht batmobile are like super swampers or mubb boggers a redneck touch lol

  • where is the engine

  • @anuthutantrum The Engine is under the riders chest.

  • What a waste of money. Non of this shit even moves does it.

  • @DenniszVideos

The Tumbler definitely runs and was driven into its spot by one of the handlers that day, which I missed unfortunately, but the Batpod was not fired up nor ridden by anyone there. Not to say that it couldn't have been, probably, but no one there was qualified to ride and maneuver it without having an accident, I'm guessing...

  • @TheDarkKnut The batpod works.

It uses electric motors in each wheel.

  • @TheDarkKnut must of been not fired up for a reason

  • @TheDarkKnut very smart thing to do... make a bike that no 1 can ride it, that way ppl (the retarded kind) will think its even better then the 1 in the movie cuz for them the only qualified person to ride that pile of metal strapped with plastic is batman... and like a very smart person once said "What a waste of money"....

  • @bazengao Brilliant response. I hope you drop off the planet before you contaminate the gene pool any further. By all means, make a better movie that isn't a CGI-fest and then judge. Until then- shut the F up, and take a course in spelling and punctuation.

  • @bazengao Yeah, its designed for the movie not for the viewers. Not sure if you knew. Its not like it was just built to show it to people it was a movie prop. Also, not sure if you noticed, but its not a regular motorcycle. I doubt there are many people who could ride it or would know how to even start it.

You do realize that "waste of money" helped bring in a few hundred million in profits, right?

  • @TheDarkKnut

The Tumbler has a big block chevy engine so like @TheDarkKnut said, it can actually run....

and so can the batpod, it has in-wheel motors developed by swedish engineers for the movie, it tops at about 130mph

  • @DenniszVideos if you where smart enough you would click on one of the links that shows it moving

  • @DenniszVideos Both the Batpod & the Batmobile (Tumbler) are real working vehicles.

Do some searches on youtube.. you'll realise how amazing they are when you realise they actually run, the bike in particular is incredible. There's a video around that shows how they made it. The minds behind it are absolute genius.

  • @DenniszVideos to tell you the truth both machines move, the batpod works.

the pod in the movie is real.

they had 6 batpods for the movie, not all were used, they were back ups cuz there would obviously be crashes during the filming.

  • @DenniszVideos it does run, not very fast but runs

  • @DenniszVideos

The bat pod runs alright. after all it costed 750,000 bucks to engineer so it better run. if you look around on youtube there's some behind the scene stuff on how it works... but trust me it works

  • @DenniszVideos The Tumbler Works cuz it was built as a new car.All the hydraulics on it work and even the flame thrower at the back

  • @DenniszVideos The Tumble is actually known to be a very real and very driveable vehicle. And the Bat-Pod can be driven , as well. Every vehicle seen in the the Dark Knight is operable.

  • @DenniszVideos google parker bros choppers and you will find they made a running ridable version

  • @DenniszVideos The bat pod definitely drives, The engine is inside the tire though so you cant see it. They talk all about it on the bonus disc to The dark Knight on Blu-Ray copy.

  • @DenniszVideos ur dumb.. lol

  • @DenniszVideos the tumbler is a real car, it did all the stunts in batman begins

  • @DenniszVideos Oh the bat pod really does move. The problem is because of the size of the tires it is very hard to turn.

  • @DenniszVideos - Oh, yeah. HUGE waste of money. I'm sure the BILLION dollars the film made didn't even make their loses back.

  • @DenniszVideos search up. Both Tumbler and Batpod are real and driveable and were driven in the movies.

  • @DenniszVideos bro you hav'nt seen the MAKING OF DARK KNIGHT yet!! its for real and the stunt man not only rides it but it even climbs and jumps off cars like shit!!

  • @DenniszVideos Yes actually does "move"

  • @DenniszVideos if you have the darknight dvd on the special features shows you how they build the batpod and rode it to create shots for the film.

  • @DenniszVideos If you have the movie, they have the special scene where it does move and the stunt man was riding the bat pod. So yah it does move and its not a waste of money...

  • @DenniszVideos

The Tumbler has a big block chevy engine so like @TheDarkKnut said, it can actually run....

and so can the batpod, it has in-wheel motors developed by swedish engineers for the movie, it tops at about 130mph

  • @DenniszVideos Just last week I went on a VIP tour of Warner Bros. Apparently, the vehicle does move but there's only one man in the entire world who knows how to drive it (the stunt driver), and it took him 6 months to master it.

  • @DenniszVideos waste of money? i wouldnt say that since the movie certainly made a hefty return:)

  • @DenniszVideos the tumbler was driven by the best stunt driver in the world during the movie.

the pot well.. it looked more speical effects than enything but i bet it rides

  • i hav the batpod collectable

  • looks cooler at night

  • que elegancia

  • i wanna drive it

  • What a bunch of fucking pussys yeah? They bring the vehicles out like theyre made of glass hardly moving them and wont even start them up. they are probably all made shitty as hell and dont even work. I cant believe you couldnt touch them thats soo fucking dumb Ive been to a shit load of airshows where the military lets you SIT inside jets and aircraft that are still in use by the military and they have no problem, fuck these dudes.

  • all show no go wtf dumped all that loot ... lmao to show it of ....

  • .... y have something like that and not ride it. I LOVE PUSHING MY BIKE!!! .... at least start it

  • those jerks dont let them touch the car or the bike when there touching it

  • so how much for the big black 1

  • I want one. How about two? Nah, three will do

  • can you buy one of thoose bikes

  • 3:55 fail!

  • hold the camera still shakey shakerton!!

  • im sea sick

  • It looks like it drives like shit.

  • HOOSIER TYRES...

    LOL

    I knew It won't be Michelin's...

  • i bet that dumbass feels so high and mighty pushing along the bike, and what harm could people touching the vehicles actually do. should of had those vhhicles in a museum rotting away rather that showing them to the public if their gona have those dumbasses running the show act like tards

  • @warus05 u know u are right they are treating it like tissue paper

slightly touched and off it goes

    they are all assholes

  • @warus05

That dumbass who is wearing the fanny pack? Its fucking 2010. No one wears a fucking fanny pack. Cocky bastards. I want that bike though

  • I WANT THAT BIKE!

  • knee drag with that bike haha.

  • did he just say a mile a gallon? lol

  • it's so beautiful! Talk about getting a reckless driving ticket... shit.

  • is that a sprint car tire?

  • i want aht fucking bike

  • I love the guy who shouts out, "You can't touch any of the vehicles!"

What's the reason for putting that movie prop crap out on display, and you won't let anybody touch it!!!!! Why don't you take all your Hollywood shit and get the fuck out of Niagara, you jerkoffs!!!!! It's not like that shitty movie didn't make millions of dollars in profit anyway.

  • you lucky bastard

  • does that shit even drive?

  • sucks..back tyre is to thin

  • need to make it functional, not bull. :)

  • start that bitch up!!!

  • If there was a huge war in america that compltetly destroy the world. I would steal this and ride it every where.
