I really like this. It expresses perfectly how angry and pissed off we can feel when we get taken for granted and someone craps all over us. The feelings for revenge are a natural urge - to wanna grind to a pulp the culprit that wounded our souls, especially when, like you and me, we dont let people in easily.
I tend to think the best revenge is 'the wise woman walks away'. No attention can deflate badly. But each to his own. I understand your sentiments here for sure.
