If you're going to buy this( which would be the best idea if you want amazing quality) you should buy straight from the hauppauge site. Hate to say it but a couple sites sell the older models for the price of a new one. Hauppauge was very consistent with getting me the updates and the best price.

It's a little jerky, but that could be eliminated by encoding in one of the other options besides MP4, like AVCHD. Other then that, it looks great!

1080i is better then 720p it is a higher resolution, the hauppauge does not support 1080p however

wow, if it's possible to get that good of quality with this capture card i'm sold. I've been looking around at different videos of halo 3 with this capture card and most of them have seemed a lot like normal quality. but i hear your settings with this thean i'm sold.

i find that the composite cables have no output. The only way to record wii games without lag while playing them is to have a male to two female splitter. *if any of you know what that means*

If you look at a picture of the box you will see, there is a row of input and a row of output on the box for component and audio. It has a wire that connects to a computer with a USB.

Not if you have already pressed the watch in hd button, if youve got it on normal quality then it changes to hd aquality but you could just as well press the watch in hd button. same result.
