Just the cover art makes me want to play this game!!! Acclaim was a underrated company. I loved their games to death! Iggy's Reckin Balls is amazing to as well as the Turok series and more! glad it still lives on through on of its employees who made retro studios! and they have amazing games!!!!

Wiki says that there are companies that are trying to bring back this game with contemporary technology! That would be soooo cool.. imagine playing this game with the 3D tech we have now O_o OMGism!!! My money would be well spent there :)

Good stuff. This game introduced me to electronic music (techno, trance, etc). Too bad XG2 sucked. At least 3 and 4 weren't bad, but I miss the musical style of the first =)

akklaim got permission from the owners of Tron to base thier bike designs off of and they said yes.

hence making it some what of a revival of tron but in a neo-like way.

Someone needs to round up Accaim once more and bring them back. MS and Sony are fully capable... though seeing an Extreme-G game that would return to it's roots and maxing out whatever system it's on would probably be better on the PS3.. it is more powerful by a noticable amount. This flow, this style of play, with the return of this music on the 360 or PS3, or even the Wii would be a dream come true for me and everyone else who loved Extreme-G growing up.
