It bums me out how a lot of people write off one piece. At first glance it's a childish kids show but it's a lot deeper. the fights are some of the best and most intense in any anime, the character development is unparalleled, the story is great and so vast. And after 500 episodes you get so attached to luffy and all the other characters. i never thought i'd like it as much as i do when i started watching it. it's easily one of my favorite shows, maybe even my favorite.

Very nice, plenty of epic. But why did you not finish it? It's always jarring for me to hear the song cut off in the middle, and this one is especially jarring because luffy was about to hand out some satisfying punches. It just seems incomplete to me. But of course from the other comments i seem to be in the minority :(.
