absolutely love the bike, one of the best things I purchased, not giving it up... lol... I actually went and sold my sport bike after riding both all summer, this is way more fun and it can do 150+ (even with the -1 front gear change) so I can still go down the highway to the next pit or trail... thanks again BroadviewPowersports!
@TaYlOr01994 why?.... leave the house, hit the road, jump the ditch, hit the trails and the pits... and this is far from a "boring" enduro bike... shouldn't be classified as one, this thing takes the new yzf450 in the top end and it keeps up with it in the bottom end, I traded with my buddy who races him yz and he was very impressed, suspension is about the same, only real difference once the mods are done to the wr is the gearing... .... the yz can't stand up to road use for a long time
@customlow150 i dont really go for trails mate hahha maybe its a good bike to have good fun on though i guess
the best ive ever seen enduro wise was a group of 5 lads who were at a place wich isnt legal or anything to practice on but they were all getting ready for enduro british nationals andone of the lads there who was riding for ktm was out to win the series the next week...they kept up with every crosser there but all in all there not as fast, they're easier to use cos of their low gears:)
didn't have a keyed ignition but I installed one once I took delivery of it, plus I have a disc lock... I love this bike, exactly what I wanted... glad I didn't get the wr250 I was looking at before this... my cousin has a 450 KTM... both bikes are very comparable but his ktm has a 6 speed which gives it the edge on the top end...
@customlow150 I'm working on buying this bike from a dealer any any idea as to where you bought the key ignition as well as installing it, I want to make it street legal. I know people ask you this alot but that key ignition is real important for me minus the disk lock which I already own.
No, it doesn't have a keyed ignition. With a bike like this you could always use a disc lock. But in the end, if someone wants to steal the bike, they will,.. Key or no key...
is there a key to this bike, it looks like it could get stolen real easy? the reason I'm asking is in the market for a dual sport like bike that has the closest engine type to a track bike as senseless as that may sound. so far it's been narrowed down between the KTM exc 450 or the wr250r
I just love riding around the streets on this thing... got a new Vapor digital gauge installed, which is great... don't know what I love more, this or my sport bike... lol
There really is nothing better than a true dirt bike with a tag for the street. (not that I see one here). but, the blinkers are a step towards being legal. I like it.
is that the tusk enduro kit? I guess you just wired it into your stock tail light then?

Can you get these on you L's?
DMCcornish 9 months ago
@DMCcornish they're on the LAMS list in most states in Australia. They're a bit of a maintenance heavy bike for a learner though.

what do you need to make it street legal. just blinkers and mirrors?
123devinzz1 10 months ago
It would depend on the year of the bike and which province you plan on registering the bike in.
