@ZEROflawgunner It's a badly composed piece of film music, partly "inspired" by the Swan of Saint-Saëns ("stolen" would be more appropriate), using MIDI-Samples, like these noncomposers always do...
wow. i'm currently attending a private art school in new york. and when i see things like this. it only solidifies my passion. thank you for sharing this immensely beautiful piece with the world. i really do appreciate it.
I cried when I watched this for the first time, you know why? . First of all I love art in general, secondly I studied architecture and i use 3dmax. I see this video and I cannot believe the amazing beauty that it has. Its like a projection of my dreams, and to see Mies Barcelona Pavilion in this cinematographic context is heart breaking. I cannot express it with words.
Alex Roman doesnt need to speak, he just did it and now its in front of your eyes. JUST ENJOY THIS SUBLIME ART.
I saw this on the big screen at the Linz Brucknerhaus during the opening of this year's Ars Electronica Gala - utterly, utterly stunning. The audience were captivated during the crescendo.
@rob3rth4yd3n the soundtrack is based on : Mychael Nyman - The Departure & Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns - Le Carnaval des animaux all mixed by Alex Roman himself
Those are all actual places that do exist in the real world, but what you see is not real. Alex Roman the creator, rebuilt them on 3d studio max and added textures, lighting and rendered them in Vray. Then he post produced them in After Effects. and edited it in Premiere. He is a sick individual with sick skills and vision and foresight thats not to be fukt with. He pushed the software to the limit and created this masterpiece all by himself. This is the future of film making.
It's how the focus shifts like it was recorded with a real camera that really gets me, and the amazing lightning, such soft shadows of different shades.
I mean, if it actually looks completely REAL when you murder someone brually in a game where graphics looks EXACTLY like in real life... then things could start turning way upside down in the heads of a large amount of people!
@Defarakka I believe people that have this kind of problem have this kind of problem with or without it, with a movie or just an idea, no need for a realistic game to be retarded.
@IronwillNeo Well, I didnt exactly want to put up some kind of debate here, but if you imagine a game, that looks exactly like what you just saw in that video. when you play it (or maybe even better looking if ever possible). It could be kind of hard for even normal people to seperate whats on screen from real images. I'm not only talking about those easily mindfucked who play GTA and then go around killing folks. Anyway, my comment came kinda out of nowhere, so no need for a debate :P
I had to log on just to say how wonderful this is. Not just beautiful, but it has a unbelievable great mood of peace, progress and greatness of the human mind, on a society not far fetched. Thank you very much. Feeling great.
2050, the standard for games will be this. I would like to see a render of a war zone, just to see if this guy can do a chaotic environment instead of a peaceful one.
Best CGi I have ever seen! I mean, at first I thought somebody was just using an intense bad ass camera. Then crazy @#$% started to happen like books flying and water bubbles. This is REALLY well done!
@DragonAge2k I don't see it claiming to be real anywhere. The first thing said, after the author, in the description is "CGI" which stands for computer-generated imagery". The credits also say "CG".
Add some virtual reality glasses with the ability to show the view from where each of your eyes was supposed to be, effectively making this appear to be true 3D, and... are you SURE we're not in the Matrix right now?
So....you mean to tell me that $50,000,000.69 that I didn't win in the lottery because I didn't take the ticket to the booth was spent into making this video? ..... Well spent! I can now die happily! ^_^

@Orangebike666 LOL, if a game were to have this kind of graphics your computer would fry just by attempting to start it. and what would the size be of the game, 1TB?
@XxXxXUnlimitedXxXxX you must be stupid. You know grand theft auto 4? Those models are about 250 kb each, 500 kb including texture. (For the vehicles) So depending on what the developer did to keep size down, it would probably be more like 100 gigs max
@valiverra most of the scenes are shot in Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia) so I think that the video is composed of computer generated and real scenes.
