@bigdaddy234567 I use a Cannon HD Camcorder to record. I use the software it came with to import it into the computer, then I import the file in to Windows Movie Maker, then I reduce it down to a "720" file by publishing it with WMM, then I put all the video parts into a folder. When I am ready to snych it, then I import the 720's and the audio into WMM again and synch it by cutting and pasting. It is a pain in the butt, but now I am much faster. I am thinking of doing a How to video. Thanks! :)

I have played in bands before (long time ago) and I just started playing again in my home studio (a spare bedroom with a bunch of junk in it) about a year ago after not playing for over 25 years. I also learn a lot by forcing myself to try and learn the style and techniques of the original artist in order for me to grow as a musician. Well, some songs I will do all the tracks and others I will use a bt and on this song it's combination of both and so each project time lengths are different and it also depends on other varialbles like difficultly etc. I also do HD camcorder recordings which adds more time. How do I get a lead sound like that? Something without all this annoying distortion but with that sharp sound? High gain or what? I'm oneof these weirdos who plays by ear, but i cant tune very well and I'm really a drummer at heart. SOS? :)
Hi, I play completely by ear, I guess I am a weirdo too! =) Gilmour uses just a little distortion and a careful balance of compression and gain along with a nice mix of treble and bass tones. I use a POD xt Live and I have a downloadable "patch" that gives me a tone very close to his that I can tweek to fit my guitar, but I also have a Boss Compression sustainer (CS3) that works too. Of course having a Strat type guitar with a center single coil pup helps to get that strat sound too. :)
By the way.Could you tell me what are the chords? I figured B minor, A, C, D and that's preety much it? Or do you play it a little bit different? Once again amazing cover, brilliant solos. Somuch soul and feeling in there...

KB That was incredible!!!!! Stellar cover! best ive ever heard barre none! Vocals are incredible, as good as Gilmour and Waters with your own personal touch, & the guitar was perfect. Tone was beautiful, your playing sublime & that bt w/ all your additions was perfect!!! That was absoloutely epic! Incredible! Thanks so much for posting your vids KB!
