It is Dam near impossible to sing (on key) and dance at the same time. And they danced the entire time. So in Order to completely rock the house and gain outside exposure (anywhere besides ATL) they had to give a good performance. So the lip synching was the best option. Just think of it as a LIVE performance of the video Sorta like Chris Brown's 'Take you Down" Video. BTW he lip synch in that vid as well...
