Faith is one of the all time great characters. She's unbalanced, struggling with her own fragility and loneliness by hiding it beneath self-reliance and aggression. Her downfall wasn't when she accidentally killed Alan Finch, it was before that, when Buffy rejected her trust and offer of friendship during the "drummer, klepto" moment of sharing. Faith exposed her weakness and it was trampled. After that she buried it deep and was lost until Angel reached out to her. Great video, FaithHIM.
