  • Those were days of good films.☆

  • one of the best Julie Andrews performance

  • oh.mi.god! i just can't help picturing Chris Colfer doing this movie... i can't hepl it! i suits him soooooo much!!

  • A SHAME.....ROBERT PRESTON DID'NT GET THE OSCAR [HE WAS NOMINATED] I CAN UNDERSTAND JULIE LOST IN 82 TO MERYL STREEP, BUT.....LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • I absolutely love this movie. I think it is one of the best comedies ever. And the costumes, music, and sets are phenomenal. Love it!

  • hipershow!!!

  • Blake was so masterful that he tune the pitch of the orchestra too high to give it a brighter sound. It resulted in stressing and ruining Julie's voice. I never liked any of the whore movies he put Julie in. I hate V/V.

  • @withowlseyewatch I thought her voice was ruined because she had some kind of throat cancer?

  • @Pekoautika "The Schiller Institute campaign for a change in concert pitch from A=440hz back to A=432hz is based that 432hz is deeply connected with nature and the vocal chords of singers will not be damaged by higher ranges when centered at concert pitch A=432hz."

Sadly, we have lost a voice that had the effect of opening out hearts to love. It's a dark dark story about what was done to extinguish the tones of her voice that made the child within us burst forth in joy and celebrate of life.

  • @Pekoautika Bungled surgery NOT cancer.

  • this movie was and still is the business!

  • Not a single dislike. So true. So, so true.

  • I didn't know James Garner was in this movie.

  • this was such an amazing movie!!! <3333

  • Blake this was certainly your masterpiece - RIP.

  • @TONYFROMWESTSIDE AGREED. fantastic movie, and all the pros are right on cue, from Robert Preston, Lesley Ann to the incredibly underrated James Garner and of course, Julie Andrews.

IThe film has the sheen and artistry of a Fosse musical, and the wit of a 50s screwball comedy. Very well done.
