I think one thing that we need to understand about the end times is that the true bride must prepare itself in PRAYER, FASTING, and the SCRIPTURES. Christians will not suffer from God's wrath. But Christians will suffer from God-hating men. Non-Christians will suffer in the tribulation while Christians will intensify in faith being a witness against Godlessness. Many saints will die in this period from persecution....
The rapture will happen, but it is a one time event. We will not be raptured away before the tribulation period. Jesus will come back to earth to rule for the coming millenium. He comes with a Godly force in the clouds, and we will meat Him in the air, after the blessed ones who are ressuracted first. There will be no mistake about it!
Do a search on ENPI/Israel...Type it just like that....It's 7 years and there are some folks that believe it could possibly be the start of the 70th week prophecied in the book of Daniel...It went into effect Jan. 1, 2007.
Doesn't it seem odd to you that God would punish the bride of Christ with his wrath in the tribulation? And, if you count 1260 days from the abomination of desolation, you know when the second coming is. What about "no man knows the day or the hour"?
Those of us who don't hold to the "rapture" view still believe that Christ will return (and even that we will be caught up with him in the air at his coming) and judge the world.
Don't understand how we, by holding to your eschatological viewpoint, are avoiding accountability on sin and evil. We are not denying the second coming of Christ but what you believe leads up to it. Harsh words to use against your brothers and sisters in Christ I must say.

It's so wonderful to know that if we're looking for Christ's return that it will help purify us because we need to be ready at all times, so we need to have out hearts and minds looking toward Jesus. He could come at any moment. He could come even before I finish writing this comment. It is a comfort to know what the bible teaches.

The reason why people deny the rapture is because they don't want to hold accountability on the real issue of sin and evil around us.
God "Will" destroy this world whether we like it or not and we no matter how much we try to deny or combat it, we will never achieve it!!
Jesus already states: HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY!!
