  • great video man! Especially since it goes for all manual cct's on almost any bike. My f4i is notoriously known for the stock cct to fail around 10-15k. Replaced it with manual. Word to other viewers dont loc-tite the nuts or screws (like I did). You WILL have to adjust it again in the future and some bikes (like mine) give absolutely ZERO room to work in. Others are more easier to get to like this one, which I am jealous over. lol.

  • GOOD video +++++++ its the cct on 05 zx10 in the same location,,,

  • I just picked up a 08 zx6r and will probably have to adjust the cct as well. By the way, where did you get the monster graphics ?

    Thanks,

    Serge

  • @syagolnikov I got the graphics off ebay.

  • thanks man easy one question ad how much rpm you tight the tensioner or ad the rpm when you hear the knocking?

  • Well explained! im going to do my yamaha tri moto tomorrow, its so noisy. totally different engine type i know but im sure the workings will be the same.

  • Cracking how to mate, im going to apply this knowledge to my gsxr back in the uk.

    Thankyou.

  • How often do you have to adjust your CCT? Does it vary?

  • @mountainthrasher500 It varies... sorta... When I notice the engine is ticking louder than normal, then i'll adjust it. Typically it's anywhere from 10,000kms - 20,000kms.

  • that was really good you explained it really good and it was easy to understand

  • when you get cam chanin tensioner what needs to be done before installing and engine running?
