if anything nate longshore is mediocre and it is longshore that cost cal all their losses in their big games, for example tennessee longshore was 11/20(55%) 0 td 1 int he was taken out because he miss so many simple throws. Against Washington the game they almost lost 17/31(58%) 0 td 2 ints, against arizona 17/36 (47%) 1 td 3 ints against usc 17/38(44%) and if you look at almost all of longshores td passes it's usually the yards after catch that get the td not his passing.
As a Cal fan, I'll have to disagree with you there...I don't think he's mediocre, it's just that Longshore seems to find Lavelle Hawkins more. Desean's not as great as he could be at WR, he needs to improve his route running, but he's got great hands and obviously tremendous speed.

Nope, because of what he was saying in the media in the week leading up to the game and the fact that a friend of mine who is fairly close to the team at Cal said the coaches were quite upset that he was saying stuff in the media about his recruiting that was let's just say "creative". That leads me to believe it is not exaggerated. Let's see and then there was him flipping people off as he was entering and leaving the field.

DJ is great at returning punts but as a WR, he is mediocre. he has a few big plays as a WR but he dissapears in big games.
