@otbricki al khawarizmy wasnt a translator but he was a mathmatician, the indians also did great works in the library of baghdad the house of wisdom also in other places like persia, india, damascus and corduba they made the indian numerals arabs use today, they did many important works but algebra was mostly the work of al khawarizmy
@peacefularab@peacefularab al was a mathematician and astronomer, sure. Linguist too. It's how he was able to understand the works of the Indian astronomers that fell into his hands. In particular the work of Brahmangupta. Algebra was not the work of al kwarizmi. It was developed by Brahmangupta and al Kwarizmi found out about it from his writings.
Best invention ever. "the WHEEL" not even mentioned in this video.
Mathematics, I'd like to find the GENIUS who invented it, jajajajajajaja MATH is pure science, discoverys are not inventions. This is just a blind GUY swinging at the ball.
@saltitopa The guy who invented mathematics was Thales of Miletus. He is the first known person who tried to explain things without using mythology. He is the first person to be credited with a mathematical discovery using reasoning and logic.
